  • I feel that. It's a crapshoot if I can get my kid's meds each month at the pharmacy. Haven't been able to get the generic for months, and we're paying $50/month (with insurance) for the name brand. He truly needs his meds every day, but I'm just giving it to him on school days because of this crappy limbo of "will they or won't they" every month. AND it's not like we can get a 90 day supply. Oh nooooooo.... it's a controlled substance so a new script every 30 days.

    gets off soapbox

I know I'm preaching to the choir by sharing this, but it's becoming a worldwide issue that's so frustrating for so many.

  • Idk if it's my app or what, but the link to the original post takes me to yiff... I'm using Connect on Android.

  • Do you mean the Sound of Music instead of Gone with the Wind?

But, yes, doing something absurd to help with the spiraling really does help!

  • It's the only one we pay for. ~$35USD/year for the family plan is worth it to us.

  • It's totally extortion. I signed into my multiple accounts to download everything within this past six months, and they WILL NOT STOP begging for my money and to come back. Nope. I just wanted all my blinkies from the early 00s tyvm.

I should probably just go and request for those accounts to be deleted...

  • Clorox owns Hidden Valley Ranch brand of salad dressings. They also own Burt's Bees cosmetics. I'm unsure which cat litter they own. They also own Kingsford charcoal.

Source: I'm a retail merchandiser who has done several jobs for Clorox the past several months and I've had to run around the store from one department to another for various audits.

  • Ah. My Foremans do not have removable grates. I was given mine, I have two, and they are both circa early 2000s. I did not realize they'd changed up the design to make it easier to clean

  • If you can afford it, I highly recommend the ninja foodie grill. Easier to clean than a George Foreman grill and it's an electric grill plus air fryer. We have the XL model so it is definitely bigger than the Foreman, but it gets used so much more. Huge plus, for me, is the built in meat thermometer probe. Choose the meat and the wellness, stick in the probe, and it'll cook it to that temp for you. No more guessing for me!

(Take my suggestion/recommendation with a grain of salt because I am used to cooking for a crowd and don't know how to make smaller amounts anymore.)

  • I am also part of the Top 6hr gang. There are dozens of us! :)

  • If you like DOS games, ScummVM has an android app for their emulator and then you could hit up abandonware sites for nostalgia games. Works for some Win95 games as well. Played Woodruff on my phone a few years ago, an ISO file inside ScummVM, and besides the aspect ratio being a bit off it was playable.

I tend to go back to mindless puzzle games on my phone and set weird challenges for myself. I like HexaMania and InBlock by AleksDev. I paid for no ads, iirc 99¢USD, and haven't regretted it. No freeminum b.s. in those two. (There is a HexaMania 2 by the same person, but even with paying for no ads it has a pay to keep playing mechanic that keeps me away from it.)

Flow Free is a great connect the dot series of games that you can get the full game through Google Play Pass. Hundreds of levels per game. And with it being on GPP, you get unlimited hints if you get stuck.

If you want an exploration sandbox game, there are always Minecraft and Terraria to enjoy.

Einstein Riddle by Rottz Games, also in GPP, is a good logic puzzle game.

  • Ah. Gotcha. I realize how lucky we were that it was only $80/month with insurance. We were the lucky ones who got it down to $30/month with the coupon. I do not remember what insurance we had, and this was years ago as well.

  • This is awesome!

For those who are currently taking it and having issues paying for it, Vyvanse offers a coupon for your prescription for $30. https://www.vyvanse.com/coupon

  • Looking at the best sellers list and I own the first 8 games... None of which I've finished...

  • You're right on all accounts.

  • These sorts of questions not only expose a deep lack of biblical and theological knowledge in the modern flock, but they show how unforgiving people are becoming.

And follow [Trump] blindly they do, excusing all the many moral foibles the narcissistic autocrat clearly has.

It seems a long time ago when Christians confidently claimed the moral high ground. Nowadays, the “high ground” is wherever the “us” is standing, irrespective of the moral topography. There is no desire to welcome others into the flock; instead, fences are built to divide.

    And the shepherd? Weak.

    Forgotten.

The above pretty much sums up why I despise the church nowadays.

  • Forgot the kitchen sink, but otherwise very accurate.
