True, but most people have family in different states or counties. Even close friends would be fine with a setup like this. Do a swap, you give them your backup nas and they do the same. If they don't know how to do this, show them how.

Set one up at a family or friends place. Encrypted and nightly backups. It's off-site and no need to remember.

Correct, I'm more so speaking broadly. Since the ATF is the ones that handle the tax stamp for them. I wasn't exactly trying to go into specifics on the topic. Just that the ATF is the ones doing the song and dance now with the NFA being its "fuck you" paper.

I buy most of mine used locally via our state gun forum. Most states have one, just go on there look around, meet up, pay cash, show CCW and done.
