  • Do you worry about burn in on your phone? Your phone probably has way more static elements that are constantly on than the Steam Deck will.

I used my last phone for 4 years and thousands of hours and could only barely tell there was some burn in if I used a white image at max brightness and looked at the status bar. Burn in isn't really a problem with modern OLEDs.

  • You can get all the vitamin D you need from just 10-30 minutes midday a few times a week.

Also, cow's milk doesn't naturally contain vitamin D. Vitamin D is added to cow's milk and is even required by law in some countries (Canada and Sweden). Might as well just drink any milk alternative fortified with vitamin D.

  • Next time you're stuffing fistfuls of delicious bacon into your mouth, you might want to consider sticking a piece or two of crispy goodness into your crotch, then up your butt for good measure.

That's a hell of a way to start an article.

  • All cars from 2012 and newer actually have a brake-throttle override that cuts the accelerator signal if the brakes are being pressed due to the 2009 incidents with Toyota cars that had their accelerator pedals get stuck in floor mats.

  • Actually, due to the 2009 incidents with Toyota accelerator pedals getting stuck, all modern (~2012+) cars cut the accelerator signal if the brakes are being pressed as a safety precaution (this is called brake-throttle override).

  • Sequential speeds aren't the only metric for storage performance though. Random reads are quite important and the HDDs will literally be hundreds of times slower than an SSD for random reads. It may be fine for older games if you're fine with waiting for a minute at each loading screen, but some modern games now require SSDs and that number will likely skyrocket soon.

  • Yeah, Yuki was a few tenths of a second faster than LeClerc in the last few laps after following LeClerc for the entire race. A few more laps and Yuki would've had a good chance to overtake LeClerc, which is insane to think about.

  • He somehow managed to keep the same pace as LeClerc and pull away from Sainz. And the AT's tire degradation is clearly better than Ferrari's. He was a few tenths faster than LeClerc in the last couple of laps. Another 3 laps and he would've been ahead.
