The Effect is Supringly therapeutic

  • Couldn’t happen to a better person. Rustad should receive the boot!

  • “Best I can do is buy out the competition while I nag Trump to viciously attack independent media and pull funding from VOA, NPR and PBS”

  • I laughed when I read the 2 tory petitions on this as they were suggesting to increase the barriers independents face when registering in a local riding.

  • The provincial ndp need to get with the program and pass proportional representation already in BC and Manitoba!

  • Most abc do voters support proportional representation at 79%. It's the elite politicians on the conservatives and liberals that are being the hold up, who haven't face enough political consequences for opposing electoral reform in the first place.

    Source

  • Absolutely the politicians serve us not the other way around.

  • Because they want to keep the support of the populace. The kiwi politicians didn't want to pass electoral reform for years either until the public had enough of their nonsense and held steady on the issue.

  • Mark Carney’s liberals and Andrew Sheer’s conservatives must be pressured to support a citizen’s assembly to decide on the next electoral system that parliament must pass.

We need to put first-past-the-post to rest.

  • I can only count the regulars on one hand.

  • That's really cool that admins can tell which clients folks are using, that would be very helpful for developers to gauge user satisfaction.

  • The obscure club with 12.4m followers!

Vegans 🌱 are easier to find than fedizens🐘

  • It’s interesting how Beehaw has an emergency fund as most instances are living pay cheque to pay cheque. Hopefully our software and practices can improve to further reduce costs.

  • FP4 will be too slow to keep up with even those light apps

That's true however android is not very well optimized for older hardware. It would be cool to see fairphone become large enough that they can order better deals with cpu manufacturers in bulk to have more powerful chips while largely contributing to an efficient linux mobile distro.

  • Perhaps at the end of software support, that’s how I do my upgrades.

  • They do really go well together. It would be cool to see a partnership between them but still remain as separate companies.

  • It's great for people running at the end of their phone's lifespan such as those with pixel 5as and iphone 8s.

  • Absolutely but the Saskatchewan party is doing everything they can to slowly sabotage the telecom by using shoddy contractors as much possible to privatize the crown corporation even though Sasktel gave them a budget surplus.
