Ok I understand the context of your original message now. It was completely nonsensical.

People are free to do what they want. It's this self assured BS they use to justify doing drugs in the desert that the majority of the criticism comes from.

Had a close friend who became a burner. She compared her fund raising for a party to my wife's political organizing. I can't even wrap my head around how self delusional it is.

The audio book is amazing. Listened to the trilogy this summer with my kids.

I just want the communities I post in to grow. Just trying to do my part to keep people engaged and encourage others to do the same.

Huge issue in tech, not so much in other industries as the cultural saturation hasn't gotten to a tipping point.

The fact that there is any pushback to this issue tells you everything you need to know. Seattle just passed a first in the nation anti caste discrimination law and the opposition was absolutely gross from conservative upper caste Indians, to completely tone deaf liberal conservatives.

They are wrong that you posted an altered title? Or that the way you altered the title is much more alarmist? The fact you haven't even considered altering your post title when that's a legitimate response to the criticism levied says a whole lot about the situation.

The fact your doubling down saying "they are wrong" makes me even more concerned about you. We are on a social media site to share information via links, many people choose Lemmy because it being decentralized keeps their feed from becoming riddled with dopamine hits or doom scrolls. The world is real fucked up, I get it. Editorializing to make it worse doesn't do anything helpful.

I really enjoyed it, just got burned out from the MMO perpetual grind. I think about going back but have no interest trying to "prove" myself to competent players in order to have a good time.

With the way the sequels took a giant turd on the EU only to run crying back to Palpatine clones in the last movie, I'm gonna say Mara Jade as that's easily the most offensive answer.
