  • Then why can’t I find a fucking job?!

  • Laws and rules mean nothing if they aren’t enforced.

  • Sounds like every bible thumper and MAGAt.

  • Hating someone because they’re born different or live their lives different = bigotry. Hating that people are removing the rights of people is not bigotry. Facts are not opinions.

  • It removes potential liberal bias and replaces it with bigotry.

  • Slavery for us, power for them. That’s it. We get nothing, they get everything.

  • It’s super neat tech, but if I had $3,500 burning a hole in my pocket I’d be more concerned with things like rent and food.

  • So, it turns out that people are gonna be people regardless of whatever laws are passed. In this particular case, by outlawing abortion women that weren't in a position to take care of a child no longer have a way to rid themselves of a burden (to them). Now, instead of seeing a licensed medical professional to abort the fetus, they have the kid and leave it in a dumpster. Either way, that child never gets the chance to live life. One way, it's never born in the first place. The other, it is born and deals with a lot of pain before it inevitably expires. The woman is left traumatized by the experience and the world is a worse place.

If we just, y'know, empower women to make their own decisions regarding the use of their bodies and allow them to seek medical assistance when required, this wouldn't happen. However, the republican leadership in this state (and country) would much rather have us at each other's throats instead of all of us coming together to realize they're fleecing everyone for every dime they have.

  • Maybe if it happens enough, we can normalize billionaire CEO murder as well.

  • …Mom?

  • Women belong in the kitchen. So do men. So does everyone. The kitchen is where the food is!

  • Texa ns already are.

  • They'll kill him. They'll set an example... only for him to become a martyr. Or one can hope, anyways.

  • Not a single one of those tech companies wants to pay anyone what they’re worth, leading to outsourcing where they can get away with paying workers pennies for their labor. It’s disgusting.

  • Having been in Texas my whole life, I’m looking forward to the change in… everything, really.

  • It’ll take awhile, but the crux of it hinges on the inheritance I stand to receive next year. I know for a fact that I’ll be more than enough to do what we want to do.

Second, I’ve been planning on going back to school anyways for computer engineering, so what’s wrong with studying abroad? I’ve also been in and around IT and tech all my life, and I’m pretty decent with a soldering iron. I currently work as a board rework tech.

My wife is a pharmacy tech that’s been doing it for close to 20 years in a variety of environments. Depending on where we go, her field is one of those that are in demand. Specifically, we know she can get a Canadian work visa pretty easily. We have family in Vancouver so it works out.

  • I’m leaving. I’m tired of fighting.
