  • I think every government should be providing email service the same way they provide physical mail service. With all the rights currently given to physical mail.

We've tried that in Germany. The De-Mail was already dead when it was born.

  • Why are you taking zinc? I was under the impression that intaking zinc is a terrible idea and should be avoided at all cost.

Zinc is necessary for our body to make use of vitamine C. That's why both are often combined in tablets.

I've always heard this in a metallurgy context: that you should be careful heating up brass/welding galvanized steel etc because the zinc will turn into a fairly toxic gas.

The point is that fumes, zinc oxide nano particles, which are produced when welding brass or zinc coated metals are inhaled causing lung damage and zinc fever.

  • I don't think someone blew up a container, but, as there are (illegal) hand grenades circulating in Sweden, maybe somebody deposited some in such a container. When it was emptied, all participants got into a hurry as they weren't qualified for handling explosive devices.
Alternatively, they've thought beforehand and placed the sign knowing that some may also want to get rid of their grenades. But as they require extra care, it's probably a bad idea to store them in a container in the foyer of the police station.

  • My gf once was at a police office in Sweden for filing a report. Near the entrance, there was a big solid metal container and the sign "no grenades" on it. It was to deposit guns without any questions asked.

  • Not every package, but some of them. The remaining are dependencies. Essentially, one can (iteratively) copy paste the output list of apt autoremove into apt install until apt autoremove doesn't want to uninstall packages one intends to keep.
