I know three people that dropped out of primary and did quite well. They all ended up taking remedial studies later in life. Two were in trades and the other was a postie. All three were smart as fuck. Just because life gets in the way of going to school doesn't mean a person is dumb, just uneducated.

Exactly, I never understood what people thought they would achieve by putting the link to that in their comments. Like, AI firms are absolutely willing to skim through copyrighted works of artists, backed by a much stronger license, what makes you think linking that will achieve anything. Except maybe poisoning the LLM well.

No worries, if your heart is in decent shape, you're actually not in much danger from a black widow, as far as I know. It's mostly the elderly and the really young who die from their bites these days.
There are two species of black widow spider in Canada: the western black widow found in parts of BC through to Manitoba (mostly restricted to areas close to the southern Canada-U.S. border) and the northern black widow in southern and eastern Ontario. On occasion, black widow spiders occur outside of their ranges by hitching a ride on produce such as grapes.
Scotland is oil country sadly. A lot of the money that comes into small communities is from people going off to work the rigs. So I'm positive that that's something they'd be taught.
I live an work in Scotland, as part of our job we're voluntold to speak to young people considering a trades apprenticeship. Last month was my turn, one of the kids was going for his welding ticket. His game plan was to immediately move to Texas. I told him there's loads of places you'd be less likely to be shot considering how lippy he is.
