  • Ehhhhhhh....if in the States....depends on which state you're in, in some it's illegal...others it's fine šŸ‘

  • Fair enough, it's important to know what your potential speed bumps are.

Glad to hear that things are going good for you. On the whole, life's pretty good for me too.

  • Ha! I didn't even clock the extra "d"!
No drama, was just curious. Happy to have more gaming news being posted, and glad you're not running a poorly covered research scheme 🤣

    Keep it up šŸ‘

  • I've come across a few of your posts today, and you always end the post with:

Which ______ do you hope ___ addds _____?

And I thought that was a little weird. Looked at your profile, and you're a retailer? Is this market research?

  • The slippery slope is when a game addiction turns into a gambling addiction.

Glad to hear your dad's clean. Hope everything is good for you ā¤ļø

  • Being car free is totally possible.

Depends entirely on where you live, and how much you make. Sometimes owning and operating a beater is cheaper than getting Uber/lift/cabs to do a grocery shop every week.

  • Hey, could've been worse. At least she was addicted to Tetris, not a raging alcoholic or addicted to meth or something.

  • P.T. Adamczyk - The Rebel Path from CP2077. Just really dark, and hype at the same time.

  • See....was the other way round for me. My mum had a crippling Tetris addiction when I was 7. So much so that I'd get home from school and every battery in the house would be dead. That year for Christmas all I asked for was batteries.
To be clear, it was my Gameboy and my copy of Tetris.....

  • Frodo: Hello. My name is Frodo. l am a Hobbit. How are you?
    Legolas: y'alld've'ff've
Frodo, crying: please I can't understand what you'r saying

This strikes a chord....this was basically me when I moved to Scotland. I'm a bit over 2 years in, and there's still times I have to ask people to repeat themselves....

  • OP already has a desk sized mousepad apparently.

  • Well, I'm glad that archeologists aren't as dim as they were made out to be!

  • Fair, we get taught a bit of American history at school in Canada, but not loads, and I usually just spaced out during those bits.

  • Wasn't Nixon so far gone with Alzheimer's that they wouldn't have been able to get him certified as of sound mind?

  • That's how I read what they wrote.

  • Nice! Thanks for the tidbit of knowledge!

  • It's a bit more complicated than what you're saying, but sure.

  • France has a Head of State, the President, and a Head of Government, the Prime Minister. The PM is appointed by the President. The President is the head of the Executive branch, and the PM is the head of the Legislative branch.
    From the Wiki:

The political system of France consists of an executive branch, a legislative branch, and a judicial branch. Executive power is exercised by the president of the republic and the Government. The Government consists of the prime minister and ministers. The prime minister is appointed by the president, and is responsible to Parliament. The government, including the prime minister, can be revoked by the National Assembly, the lower house of Parliament, through a motion of no-confidence; this ensures that the prime minister is practically always supported by a majority in the lower house (which, on most topics, has prominence over the upper house).
