I mean the main steam cycle solar plants are built in dry sunny hot regions, not exactly a great source of water, but probably not completely void of it either.
See, you and I may think things like this are obvious but there are some idiots out there that need to be told the obvious things otherwise they end up doing the truly stupid things.
No because it came off of over a decade of research, the mRNA vaccine delivery had been in development for years, COVID is also a type of virus related to other viruses they had developed or were developing vaccines for.
This was not some weekend project dumped out with no thought.
It's not odd at all that people are willing to take the vaccines. Hundreds of doctors and scientists have been involved in the process of determining how viruses work, how the body fights them how we can use that to improve the bodies response and then how to safely package that for delivery to every person in the country.
There is no blind faith here except for that of doubters, just literal thousands of hours of dedication and science.
Taxes don't tend to affect you when you make less than the tax cutoff.
But not having the social services those taxes used to fund suddenly means you don't get to eat dinner tomorrow, or you can't go to a family doctor because there aren't any available.
People like to complain about taxes, but taxes never made someone destitute.
Go lookup CANDU reactors, we have designs already that can't steam explode themselves and instead will fail safe. Also just to be clear nuclear reactors don't perform a nuclear explosion if they fail, the Chernobyl explosion was a steam explosion that threw nuclear material into the air.
I'm going to let you in on a secret, even though our Canadian cities are shit for people with a car there are still thousands of people in every city who get by year after year without one, because they can't afford to buy one.
Not having a car sucks, but it is not a death sentence and would be a hell of a lot better if our cities didn't assume everyone had one.
Also "car free" doesn't have to mean literally zero cars allowed, but just build and layout the city so you never have to use one for daily errands.
I live next to a grocery store and it's literally the best thing ever, grocery trips take 10 minutes max, I only end up using the car on weekends for hobbies or to visit family and friends.
There wasn't much of a real "threat", in that planes wouldn't fall out of the sky. but banking systems would probably get quite confused, and potentially lead to people being unable to access money easily until it got fixed.
Because it's a funny fucking meme my dude.
