I'm willing to bet you could find a laptop with a really nice track pad, screen and camera if you really wanted to for half the price. Everything "quality" about Mac is double the price just for having an apple logo on it.

The close competition? For the price of a MacBook you could get a beefy ass PC.

Why are people putting paper in the oven?

I've seen those under pizzas, but those look to be a thicker, cardboard type material. I just googled "can you put wax paper in the oven". My 2 sec google says no. I've never had a reason to, but I'm not a professional cook.

So if you go to a coffee shop and have a conversation, you're afraid some stranger is just going to pull up a chair and start arguing with you?

Is your house a safe space? I don't get it. Are you trying to make a space in society to exclude those that think differently? Does that mean you're okay with spaces that exclude lgbtq+? Should we all make little bubbles with labels that we all feel comfortable in, that way we can hear our groups echos louder?

I shave in the shower and just switch out when they start pulling instead of cutting. But I'd say a few weeks, and I shave everyday. But I just get it around the mouth, I'm not hairy on my neck or cheeks.

How can it be like weight classes? What are you measuring? In a tournament people play, the winners move forward. Doesn't matter what's in the pants. If ya lose, you're welcome to keep playing with whoever else you want. Is the woman's chess league saying men have an advantage in chess? Chess is about memorizing a bunch of different outcomes. I dunno, don't have much interest in it myself, but if I was a woman and wanted to be the best in the world, I'd want to play against the best. There's plenty of dudes that get their ass kicked in the men's league. Should they make a separate league so they can win it? Are men just better at everything? Even board games? Or do men just care more? I've seen the graph that says men are more likely to have geniuses, but also more likely to be retards. Is that where it comes from? Does everyone have to be good enough to be a grandmaster to play? Cause I'd have to guess there's a handful of superstars and the rest just play. But I don't follow it.

Sure not starving to death and living a comfortable life, but I'd say there's a limit to most. What is it for you? The number in the account, all the useless materialism, or the power of being in charge of everything and everyone you own? I don't think any of the reasons is a good way to live, and I doubt most even want to live that way. We don't need to be mindless hoarders.

It doesn't have to be. We can have fair elections where every candidate gets the same exposure via a public fund specifically for elections. Outlaw lobbying and pacs and have every candidate just debate/speak on stream

Does wealth really fuel ambition? Id feel like eventually it would just become a growing number in an account. I think a lot of people on top want power but I believe the innovators are fueled by creativity and curiosity. Maybe some jobs are useless. Do we need 10000 fast food choices? Do we need 10000 different stupid apps? Do we need to constantly grow like a virus, destroying the planet and anything that stops our growth? Enslaving people in meaningless jobs to keep the machine growing.
