It might be too late, but if you have your license renewed tell that to the judge. They will ask you how do you plead, I wouldn’t try to pull any shit with the not guilty plea. Just say you plead guilty, it was a mistake, and you renewed it immediately.

I had my state inspection expire and it was dismissed by the judge. Just dress nice, be respectful, and tell them it happened and you fixed it ASAP. You will still have to pay a court fee, so you won’t get out of jail free, but not having points on your license is worth it.

At the end of the day, most judges just want to see that there wasn’t a nefarious reason you didn’t have a valid drivers license. If you were able to renew it, no harm no foul.

I think that it’s more impressive to identify something that’s only 6.9x the size of earth, given that the smaller it is the harder it would be to detect.

So many people are willing to pay if it’s a good experience. But if the experience sucks, people with money will find a better service, which in many cases ends up being free. If I wanted to have ads dumped everywhere while I watch videos, there are services that offer that “experience” for free.

It’s easier to get a warrant for his arrest from a grand jury for manslaughter because it doesn’t require motive, just a dead person. They can always upgrade that too murder if the investigation turns up something.

I think you can just ask most general purpose models to make a logo. I literally just asked Google Gemini “Create a logo for my starfinder company” and it created some reasonably good logos

If you have a fresh tomato, it’s hard to beat a BLT to showcase the freshness of the tomato. Aside from just eating it sliced with a pinch of sea salt, of course.

I think this is something that is hard to overstate. Back in 2016, I went out to northern Pennsylvania to see a friend out there, and the amount of Trump shit I saw blew my blue state mind. Then I did another trip down to North Carolina and saw so much.

In 2020, I went out to both of those places again and there was a bunch of 2016 stuff out there, but not as much new stuff.

I haven’t been up to see my friend in a few years now, but driving through parts of North Carolina I don’t see anything, new or old. I think the rank and file are getting sick of him.

And on top of that, I think Democrats are genuinely excited about Harris Walz. Everyone I know in my blue state went from quiet resignation in voting for Biden to energized. Obviously it only matters if you actually vote, but hopefully everyone feels like they have a good reason this time to vote for someone instead of just against someone. It’s not enough to just win the presidency, we need to run up the numbers and take congress.

Vice presidents are by no means “next in line” for the nomination. It just happened to work that way this time, but it wouldn’t be weird if Walz was never the nominee.

It does make establishing a critical mass of comments to make a good discussion difficult. I’ve had it once or twice where I discovered a post in one community commented and didn’t get any replies, only to discover some other discussion on the same content happened elsewhere on the fediverse that I wasn’t subscribed to.

In Unix, there is a philosophy of small utilities that do their job well and are easy to integrate with each other. You don’t find one thing that does everything in Linux the same way you do with AD, but you might find something that does most of it.

I’d look at SSSD and FreeIPA, those are probably the closest you’ll get. Put in Ansible and you’ll be fine. You might also look at what Google can do on its own with ChromeOS
