  • For me the whole IP has been so tainted by her behavior that I can't even enjoy it if I didn't pay. I get a gross feeling from it, like I've stepped directly into some filthy place and must be careful not to let anything touch me.

  • Got one stretching 7 feet between my media center computer and a webcam across the room (so I can take video calls on my tv from my recliner). Works great for that and whatever else I plug into it because I'm too lazy to feel for the USB port behind the computer.

  • If they would like to respond to the pressures of unfair quotas by not doing their job then they should do it proper and go on strike or quit and force change through high turnover, not screw over the customer. I work a bullshit underpaid job too, but I don't neglect my responsibilities and give my clientele the short end of the stick.

  • As someone who sometimes needs a quick and dirty stock image for my work, webp is the bane of my existence. The work computers won't let me visit sites or install programs/extensions to convert the image, and my document processing programs have no fucking clue what to do with the format. There is an option in Microsoft edge to edit image, and it will dump the result as a .png which is the only workaround I've found.

  • I mean thats cool and all but somebody has to deliver the packages. It's not the recipient's fault the job sucks, the recipient paid for delivery with an expected time of reciept. Entering gate codes is part of the job, ringing doorbells and actually waiting for someone to answer is part of the job, actually stopping at the goddamn address and getting the package out of the truck and going up to the door with it is part of the job. If they have unreasonable expectations placed on them, that's between them and their manager. I fail to see what it has to do with me or my package. I had FedEx leave notes on my door THREE consecutive times saying "we could not deliver your package because 'the business is closed.'" It was a residential address, and the package contained critical medical equipment. Mofo had those slips ready so he could cut and run without looking for the package.
