I briefly had an S22 Ultra because there were Pixel shortages at the time, and I hated that piece of shit. Not only was it way too large, extremely heavy, and loaded to the gills with far more unremovable bloatware than the common Google variety, but the camera for which it was touted for being "the best on the market" was absolute dogshit. The white balance was awful, and the shutter speed was slower than a hot turd sliding down the onramp. I returned it after only a week and settled for a budget 4A that actually captured clear photos of my daughter in motion.
That's one way of looking at it. I always perceived the distinction to be more of an intended disgrace upon ex-Americans who have left the country. "Guess you're no longer a patriot then."
I'm an expat who has been a permanent resident of Canada since 2017, and it's a horror show watching Trump receive a second term and then turn on Canada. I know his threat of invasion/buying Canada or whatever is all peacocking, but if in ten years I've been thrust back into the American healthcare system, I'll throw myself off of a bridge.
I spent thirty years in the States and seven years now in Canada. I can say with absolutely certainty that the US system is fucked. I've never paid a dime in Canada.
I was playing some crappy F2P MMO (Perfect World, maybe?) and I made a warrior of some werewolf race. Just played with random wolf-related combinations and settled on this. Quit after two days and the username carried on for probably 15 years now.

Does the server matter at all? Wasn't able to find a straight pixelfed.ca like I did with Lemmy, but it seems like people always end up dunking on the larger servers or defederating them because of Nazis.
$17.99 for the 20 pc. In Canada. $10.79 for a 10 pc. I about shit when I immigrated here and realized nuggets were off the table. I can't imagine ordering that and picturing one dollar every time I pop one into my mouth. My wife buys me a ten piece for my birthday every year since I won't buy them myself out of protest. Also, my kid is old enough now to finish her 4 pc. Happy Meal, so I don't get to scavenge for uneaten morsels like I did before. It's tragic.
