Lucky you. My dad died from cancer when I was 14. That was rough.

Recently my mom died at 70 years old. The last time I saw my mom alive was at her sister funeral a month before. Three months later, her last remaining sister died. Same year my brother in law also died. 2022 was so far the worst year of my life. Covid was not the reason for any of the deaths.

But hey, no matter how bad things might be, they can always get worse.

If i somehow would be stopped, I'd love to argue what is liquid or not, and what could be liquid if it's just hot enough.

Norway has universal healthcare for everyone. Going to the ER is free. Ambulance is free. Surgery is free. Checkups and tests are heavily subsidised where we only pay a small fee (like $20). If you spend more than x-amount on fees annually, you get the fees waived for the remainder of the year.

We have health insurances, but that will only allow you to go to private clinics with less wait times. These insurances are normally paid by employers with highly skilled workers. It's not considered to be a necessity.

The Norwegian healthcare isn't cheap, and we pay around 35-40% income tax, and 25% VAT, but our income doesn't dictate what type of services we're allowed to get. Poverty is low, and crime rates are low.

Probably because they are feeling like the electoral system is not working for them at the moment. Sometimes you need to tear it down completely in order to build it up properly. Trump seems to be the perfect candidate to fuck it all up, before someone else can take over the wheel.

Yes I know, but the voting system favours the two largest. Thats why they are large. Small parties have 0% chance og getting representatives into the houses, so they are basically irrelevant.

Every Mark Rober video is now an ad. They're also loud and obnoxious, so I've stopped watching them.

I understand what you are trying to say. Ultimately, there are only two to vote for. Ideally, there should be more than two parties, and more than two candidates. That's how democracies work. What you have is a dysfunctional system that divides people in two groups, and there are no incentives to cooperate between parties. Proper voting is also suffering due to the two-party system.

In my country, the parties with the majority of votes and the ability to cooperate gets to form a government. We also try to make it easy to get people to vote, insted of your system of gerrymandering.

That's my motto: no matter how bad it seems, it could be worse.
