Fuck that. It's awesome! I want to have lazy initialized globals. It's that package. I want code to shorten my builder pattern I import that. I need a typed concurrent work steel queue. No problem.
I look at a c project. Everywhere custom macros to do the most basic shit. I want to parse an xml in c? Better use a sax Parser and put all the data into globals. Cryptography? Better implement that ourselves... Using a library would be too much of a hassle.
When they grandly talk that every soldier must refuse orders going against human rights, and if not, be legible to be tried and punished afterwards, they are talking about these kind of orders...
I think the politics of the prequels is the best part about it. Including the trade dispute :p that's why when you look at them as a whole they are so cool, even though many individual scenes are cringe.
That's what's different in the original trilogy. There everything else is great but you never think about the overall story or do you?
I don't have to mention that the sequels have neither, right?
I thought I'm doing this to check how hot the steam deck runs. It's just so convinient to tilt it and check with the nose... But now, after reading the article, I'm not sure I'm not addicted to the fumes!
I realized this when walking along Hollywood Boulevard. I didn't think I had to go that far until I saw a star with a name I knew. Showed me that even if you are famous, it won't take long until you are forgotten.
There are only two ways to be remembered. First, alter the way of history in a significant way (or at least make everyone believe it's because of you), or second, write a book with really good ideas. Arguably both are the same.
Tomb Raider 2013. Love that game. It's a mystery to me how they were able to croft (allow me this pun!) such a good story for that game but not able to repeat it in the later games. Even though their graphics is undoubtedly better, they feel like blant, nonsensical, un-mysterious clones
Same here. Always wanted to do cool games. But wanted to have an even cooler scripting language for the game. At some point programming languages became more interesting. Now working in ide development :D never finished a game
Actually the language is quite small. The features, it has, are just quite powerful and have huge synergies so that it seems that you have a lot of complex features. It has a lot of weird corner case stuff, but most of that is because of the jvm and other languages have that too unfortunately.
There is nothing we can do... Yet!
