Random checks are fine, but if it’s something that can affect all cars then they should all be checked. So for plank wear, if 1 of the 4 fails, all 20 cars should be checked.
If the drs wing opening too far is checked and failed both of the cars from that team should be checked, as that’s unlikely to apply to the other teams.
For as many hours of YouTube that I watch, maybe 1 hour daily, I don’t mind setting my VPN to turkey and paying $15 for the year. I mostly use it for music anyway… I certainly wouldn’t pay the full price for it though.
I think for qualifying the minor violations should still result in a laptime being deleted. For the race, I think only clear, excessive violations of track limits should be punished.
I believe it has a green light that shows once the required torque is reached. They monitor the time between the light and the reaction time to send the car. If the reaction time is too quick, indicating they sent the car without actually waiting for the green light, then that’s what may cause an issue.
There’s no 2 second mandate. Red Bull have already been under 2 seconds this season.
