rename the community RedTeamBad

I brought this exact issue up with the moderators of c/politics and they dont care. In fact one of the moderators (yoBuckStopsHere) is the top poster of all the tabloid articles that have little to nothing to do with politics. Hes trying to curate a community that vilifies one particular party. Its sad.

It should change its name to US Leftist Politics. The mod u/YoBuckStopsHere is responsible for 80 percent of the posts and its comes with their bias. Their mods also delete posts and dont enforce the TOS. If you want to have any educated discussion about politics, thats not the place. Its a very close minded, hostile crowd over there.

Thanks for stepping up. Hopefully you guys can improve the quality of this community. Right now it mostly tabloid-esque articles that appeal to people's hate boners. Not much political substance.

After letting this post marinate for a week, I can confidently say that this community is in fact just a clone of the biased echo camber that is r/politics. Im all for relevant news on politics but this isnt the place for that. Every post on the frontpage can be summed up as "republicans bad."(except the one about Jake Paul's energy drink lol) The world is too big to have such a narrow view. Lemmians, lemmitors, lemmitarians... stop buying in to the 2 party system. Look at the issue not the party tied to it.

Reddit turned into a cesspool in the last 5 years or so. The admins reinterpretation their own TOS multiple times to appease popular audiences. The site got too big for itself, just like most social media, and the quality of its users and content went way down. But hey, if you want to continue to use a site that makes you prove your skin color to join subs then thats on you. Its still there, but personally Im done with reddit. It had its time and the company showed it true colors when the 3rd party app debacle happened. For years theyve been cutting services and censoring more content in hopes they can sell reddit for mucho dinero when they go public.

In context of this post and the context of this community, that is not the case. Look at the frontpage and tell me that with a straight face.

Politics have turned into some weird twisted show of "see how bad the other party is" instead of "see what good our party has done." Its surely is a circus and the public eats it up.
