  • No prob Mr Maggoty. Figured I couldn't be the only one curious, why make more folks dive down that rabbit hole.

  • Not OP but it got my brain curious. Found several different sites about it, here are 2 that seem fairly reputable. Apparently a 12yr old genealogy buff did an extensive search to map the presidents and came across some connections that kept them going till they found the chain of relatives for each one.

It doesn't seem like "put on your tin foil hat close-related", more "if you go back far enough most of us are kin in some way related". Though, the fact that the only one who is not related, was actually appointed instead of elected, does make it look a little weird.

  • It's always the 10!

I keep one in my center console, my keychain, and random cheapies mixed in around loose tools, on top of whatever is part of the sets. Periodically we'll still have a hard time finding one when its needed and have to replenish.

Are they hanging out with the lost socks?

  • How can I be sooo disgusted by human feet yet want to tickle little toe beans so badly.

We have an orange cat that I threaten to tickle his toe hairs all the time (his toes splay out when you get them and he gets all feisty, yet gentle playing, i know he really loves it). If I heard someone talking like that over a person's feet, I'd prob get a lil sick. Even knowing full well what they walk through, I'll take cat tootsies over human ones all day.

  • Irrigation! I need to rewatch this, it's been too long.

  • Sure, but he's unwilling to let others grow and make their own choices in their time. Just because you don't do something anymore is no reason to ban everyone else from doing it now, let alone criminalize it. He got to be curious and explore who he is, he should be letting others do the same. Exposing this stuff helps show what he is taking away from others even though it was OK when he did it.

  • I'm thinking, if you got to have fun, minding your own business... not hurting anyone; No matter how much you may have grown or changed and no longer like or approve of doing those activities, you don't get to be part of a brigade that strips the rights from people who DO choose to and again, aren't hurting anyone. You don't get to incite violence against people who are Minding Their Own Fucking Business without the bare minimum of getting exposed for being a fucking hypocritical piece of shit.

  • My state doesn't even require one but they send a little paper one every time I update my registration. I imagine something like that could be used? Homeless could use a library or shelter as an address for them?

There would probably be some asshat who would try and snag other's though. So yeah. Probably best to just stay without.

  • Oo, oo, lemme drop this lil tidbit in too,

Current Focus: Ohio River (Cincinnati to Louisville) to Canada to Montreal (Quebec) to Nova Scotia to Maine] [Secondarily any of the great lakes or the ohio river; Mississippi still a possible]

A water-based, sustainable effort, with a view to a better quality of life. (tentative statement) disclaimer: almost all of this is planned; the only actuals are a couple of sailboats on the ohio river; there are no requirements for supporting one another

  • As someone with a wall full of S.K. novels, I appreciate this reference.

  • Yeah, I don't think he'd be against it at all from the personality portrayed. I think even being able to 1 up mom or the Detective on fashion choices or something, would have been right in line for the character.

  • Until the cross dressing bit I was thinking of Lucifer from the TV show of the same name.

  • So glad you were there at that moment for those dogs. That story had me on the edge of my seat in distress for a moment!

  • I know this is hours later now but, as I am just now reading through winding down for my night, this is what I'm watching!

  • It's ok, we understand here. This is your safe space. If we're going to be damned, let's be damned for what we really are.

  • Guess I should have worded that more as, "make my employer understand and make the switch". We can tell them till we're blue in the face but they do not seem to care.
