Lmao we're still as capitalist as ever. Americans have a skewed sense of what capitalism implies due to your super-duper-mega-unregulated-corporation-shareholder-moneymaker3000 type of ultra capitalism
If you look at the recent history of the middle east you would quickly see that you don't need to be on the brink of genocide to elect terrorists into government. Ideology and brainwashing is one hell of a drug
If you tie your shoes using the "runners knot", which most sporty shoes are designed for and eliminates heel slip, you will have a hard time getting them on without a shoe horn or having to re-lace them every time.
You won't find a house in Scandinavia without a shoe horn, it's fascinating how rare they are in the US and most of Europe
As someone from Scandinavia, I've wondered for quite some time but been too scared to ask; How has Trump's presidency actually damaged anything? Did he actually do anything worse than the previous presidents, except being super blunt at speeches?
(Honest question, sorry if I sound like a supporter of any political party <3 )
Funnily enough, here in Scandinavia next to nobody uses WhatsApp, we pretty much exclusively use sms/RCS/iMessage and Snapchat. Sometimes Messanger. Weird how different it is
Everytime I discuss apple vs android with colleagues, it always boils down to "but come one, you can't take someone with green bubbles seriously". And we all work as developers for god's sake. iPhone users are more shallow than you think.
And yes iMessage has way higher image quality than sms, just like RCS has
As someone born in 99', I know we all used to rave about the Simpsons back when the movie came out, and we used to watch the movie in school pretty much every opportunity we could, but after that we pretty much "moved on"...
To be fair most people still cook with teflon, albeit PFOA-free, so we're still actively consuming teflon. And the worst part? You need to use plastic cooking-utensils with teflon pans. And as plastic utensils wear down they shed lots of microplastics straight into your food.
I'm usually very sceptical about things that "might supposedly" be bad for you, but even I refuse to buy any teflon pan and/or plastic cooking utensils. I now use cast iron with steel utensils :D
Case in point
