  • Their OfficeJet Pro is $13 a month and offers next business day replacement. If I were to purchase out of spite, it would be with a debit/temporary card with exactly $13 on it, and claim a replacement for defective printer (since it cant print offline). I wonder if HP would still try these things if each “customer” costed them substantially more in shipping back and forth, or having to write off two “office” printers for $13.

  • As someone who has done this over the years, 2007 version was horrible (as you described), 2015 was normal, 2024 version as you see will literally give you the answer and tell you try again without even a point penalty.

  • Biden choose the most controversial way of accomplishing the debt relief plan and has refused to pursue the plan outlined by legal scholars even after his plan failed source. Considering that Biden has long been talking out both sides of his mouth, see his stance on Israel at the moment for a contemporary example, it would appear that he does not want to give the actual relief promised.

  • What people forget too quickly is there is a populist candidate who would respond to pressure and apply it forcefully. The best example of this was the call for a bigger stimulus check, the average joe complained, the establishment ignored them and said it wasn’t gonna happen until Trump highlighted it and pushed the establishment to halfway allow it. A Trump political strategist could get Trump to start chanting Genocide Joe, it would force Biden to say he won’t stop or if he does stop, the ability to say he stopped it the wrong way (Too many deaths, not enough hostages released, poor bargaining, etc). This war really only seems popular with establishment players, the same types of folks who either hate Trump or fall in line for him anyway so it would only be positive points. The scary part is every side is essentially playing chicken with people’s futures and the market can stay illogical way longer than the average joe can be liquid.

  • My only issues would be areas with 2 lanes or less in each direction (>4 total), heavy thoroughfares/interchanges (ie where would you put the stations/would station transfers be easy to make/would location make sense), and last mile (often once I travel outside a city where I am going may be 20+ miles away from the highway exit).
