I forgot the details but the 2005 Most Wanted has an unofficial update pack that brings widescreen and other creature comforts. It was well supported except I could never get lan-play to work on my Win10 hosts. I wish I had a link but everything I find is piecemeal and the patch I had years ago combined the popular ones to one patch.

Yeah Lemmy is just really left and uninformed, mask prohibitions have existed in almost every state way before covid (talking 17-1800s) for exactly this reason. And frankly, even in NYC, outside of say health settings, the only people I see wearing masks are those who are actively trying to not be identified, and sometimes it nothing like yourself but more than likely theres a reason they don’t want to be identified and its rarely good.

Like I feel like I am taking crazy pills when I see such downvote ratio on something so verifiably factual and honest.

Most of them do not work, this 8 year old NYT article claims that 120 out of 3250 signals in NY work a decrease from their census in 2004 and mentions how a different agency found 1 working button across various cities. The only ones that kind of work in my experience are in New Jersey, where if you do not press the button, the intersection will never clear you to walk. The signals and everything work the same, just you will never get walk at the intersection (even when you normally would have) without pressing the button.

Every one of the last 25 years has been the year of Linux, the Steam Deck is definitely moving the needle but not enough to actually overtake anything, at least at the moment.

The most asinine part to this for me is that he brought three bags from the car, only photographed two, and didn’t even deliver one. Is the economy okay when everyone knows their costs are close to double what they were five years ago? Like that you lost a vote (however small the margin) literally shows your view is unpopular. But please keep hoping you know and want better for people without doing the work and ignoring the will of people.
