Credit card companies are putting up their money and in the case of fraud, they want their money back, protecting you. Nevermind the other benefits, which you've stated you don't care about.

That's the end of the thought process. It doesn't need to be removed, it just needs to be removed from their line of sight. As long as they don't know about it, it doesn't exist. Problem solved.

No, the responsibility is solely on the consumer. It's clearly labeled as having caffeine. No one is forcing anybody to ingest anything against their will. It's not the company nor governments responsibility to protect oneself against their own stupidity.

Capitalism isn't the problem. It's corruption. So rather than fix the problem and hold the corrupt individuals accountable, you'd rather stop the symptom. But then the source of the problem is still there and manifests itself elsewhere. But it's easy just putting bandaids on things, so I can see why that would be the crux of your efforts.
