They didn’t lose anyone, its only been out for a short time. With the recent changes at twitter breaking all sorts of long time features Threads is poised to be its replacement.
It takes time, your favorite music, whiskey, friends, food, pot, exercise, tobacco, sunshine, sports, chili cheese fries, boat rides or whatever you like. Just do you for a while!
I’m American and live in an older suburb of a fairly large city. Half of the neighborhood seems to have a full sized truck, an extra large SUV or both in their driveway. The reason they are in the driveway is that most people can’t fit these vehicles in their garage. Older homes have smaller garages built for the cars made at the time. On the few occasions I need to haul large items I can rent a truck from the hardware store by the hour, or a cargo van for the day.
Thanks I didn’t know that, I have never used Mastodon. I also follow some athletes and less popular college sports on twitter. I doubt they are there but I’m signing up now to find out.
I only use Twitter for sports news and updates that basically don’t exist anywhere else. It would be unfortunate if they destroy the platform with crap like this.
If you change phones every 2 years or less you should have no reason to replace the battery. A lot of people keep phones for much longer (students, retired, low income etc…) and suffer with bad battery life as their phones age. While Apple does replace batteries in store or by mail for a price a lot of people don’t want to deal with that. Also Apple stores are only in larger cities so for some it could mean driving a few hours each way.
Thats great but I don’t think my office building could ever be converted. It has a central core and 3 wings (shape like mercedes symbol) but most of the plumbing is either in the middle or at the end of each wing.
Macs can be weird about this sometimes. Did you try a 4K/60 usbc to hdmi adapter with the appropriate HDMI cable? I typically use Anker adapters but anything with the proper rating should work.
