I didn't have to look very hard to find this. It's simple - break the law, get arrested. Keep pushing your agenda though.

True. I was thinking of the selective pressures of nature, but there are absolutely still self imposed selective forces acting on our species.

Natural selection hasn't really applied to humans for thousands of years. We beat nature when we created civilizations. Which is partly why some of these less than ideal genetic traits go unchecked now in the population.

This is not true at all. Transformer models like ChatGPT have already proven to be immensely useful and helpful in the professional world. It's not capable of doing jobs entirely on its own yet, but as a tool that helps humans do their job it's great.

That's not the point at all. They wanted to automate this with computers and it failed. They had to rely on workers in India to do the analysis. That's why they're canceling this service.

I like suburbs because it's relatively calm, I can build a workshop in my garage, and there's still pretty good amenities. And it's significantly cheaper than the city.

It's not that simple. Yes, power lines do start a lot of fires, but climate change induced drought is the main cause of the scale and frequency of wildfires in California. If the conditions are right it's only a matter of time until something sets it off.
