  • Wow, literally just got my wife a steam deck to play this game with me and created her an EA account last week. Joining each other was annoying using the EA friend's list and the steam deck trackpad. Hope this update streamlines the process.

Update: Invites using the Steam friend list was simple and worked well.

  • I've already sunk 74 hours into it and is my new nighttime treat.

Rougelike with poker hands (flush, straight, pair, etc.). Joker cards modify rules (extra chips or multipliers for certain cards) and tarot cards modify the deck (ie. remove, copy, modify cards).

Score requirement goes up each round trying to beat at least 8 rounds to "win". Playing a couple rounds goes quick and it's easy to pause when you need to step away.

Progression with new decks unlocked, new joker cards, and challenges.

  • Same, but I can understand that Valve doesn't want to give false impressions that a game runs perfectly when there are imperfections as mentioned. Valve has high community trust.

But yeah, I usually just read the incompatibility issues and usually decide it's not a big deal and play anyway.

  • What does Windows + D do? I was always a Windows + M to minimize. Then I learned how to make virtual desktops and Windows + Control + Left/Right to switch desktops to one with a bunch of benign windows open.

  • I accidentally misread the instructions when I first heard of this and added 5ml of water for 25g of beans. The beans were chunkier after grinding but was the best cup of coffee I've ever made, definitely more delicious than dry grinding. Unsure how it compares to spritzing instead but just adding water works for me.

While the previously poster can be viewed as an "ad", the post is same as a next door neighbor bringing it up. Mullvad doesn't do affiliate marketing or pay influencers.

I used to use Mullvad but now I use a different service, but especially like to support open source products.

  • It's going to vary based on the usage amount. Popular apps are going to be charged a lot.

From Reddit's blog about the change:

Effective July 1, 2023, the rate for third-party apps that require higher usage limits is $0.24 per 1K API calls.

Apollo's developer stated in May 2023, Apollo made 7 billion requests, which would put it at about 1.7 million dollars per month, or 20 million US dollars per year.
