  • The person on the far right is a man, who would have been considered very cool and masculine looking by people his age.

The half shirt, the short shorts, the thick gold plated chain, the permed hair, the unseen but probable high top Air Jordan's... peak 80's young male attire.

My only point is that times and fashions change over time, but the 80's were special.

  • None yet that I have found. Liftoff is supposed to have them in two releases from now.

  • When you're a guaranteed vote, why would you expect anything to change?

  • Nothing new here. We heard things like this a few months into his presidency.

  • Seriously. At least put the twice daily Elon Musk stories in one thread.

    It's fucking ridiculous.

  • Ah yes, the singer Conservatives canceled long before the same Conservatives started crying about being canceled for doing what she was protesting about and got canceled for.

  • Was the air conditioning blowing too much at the press conference?

Approximately 45 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit / 7 to 12 degrees Celsius can be considered cold for tortoises. Anything below is very cold and can become dangerous.

  • Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti will be disbarred disciplined.

Is has happened before in a case like this. Ask Phill Kilne.

  • I've had a Z Fold 3 since it's launch. I love it.

I'd like your impressions on the Z Fold 5. Try to sway my opinion on sticking with my 3.

  • The battery life bump from my 4 to the 6 isn't much at all, so I don't see a need to upgrade. I may do a trade in, but I somehow have two 4's.

    • Being a school kid in class, all of us watching TV to see the first teacher go to space and seeing instead her death as the Space Shuttle challenger exploded.
    • Being from Massachusetts, watching the Red Sox world series with my Grandfather in 1986 and seeing the ball go through Bill Buckner's legs.
    • Not making the high-school basketball team as a freshman because I was too short. When I graduated I was 6 feet 2 inches.
  • Cable TV has metastasized into a cancer... and Fox News is ass cancer.

  • Last year Netflix paid $166 million on executive compensation.

This year, Executive Chairman Reed Hastings is set to receive a $500,000 salary and $2.5 million in stock. Co-CEOs Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters will each collect an annual salary of $3 million. Sarandos stands to receive an additional $20 million in stock, and is eligible for a bonus of up to $17 million. Peters will collect $17.3 million in stock and a bonus of up to $14.3 million.

...just in case you were wondering why Netflix pays its actors so little.

  • The state of Texas forced a woman to risk her life carrying a fetus that could not survive outside of the womb putting her life at risk as well as her future fertility in jeopardy.

Texas also argued any state cannot force you to wear a mask to prevent the spread of a disease that will kill already born immunocompromised infants.

  • Until a jury comes back with a guilty verdict that disqualifies this coup monger from ever holding office again, I will not rest easy.

  • Third parties ONLY make sense at the local level right now.

You have to build up a third party at the grass roots in order to then challenge state politics. Running a third party candidate at the national level only ever helps the minority GOP gain power.

  • Clinton moved the Democrats to the center right. He is definitely to blame for a lot of this recent garbage.

  • Stocks. Investing in a corporation for earnings and dividends was once seen as a valid way to invest your money. Now stocks are all about finding the next wave and cashing out before they collapse.

  • Business Leaders. Before the CEO salary explosion, the opinions of business leaders were respected. Now everything they do and say is suspect as gaming the system for short term stock gain.
