  • There’s nothing embarrassing about ASMR, I think I just got personally embarrassed because I was being “spoken to” if that makes sense. I don’t usually listen to these but this one I saw in a video and was intrigued.

  • I saw it when I was watching a woman react to funny ASMR videos, this one was in her search but she didn’t watch it so I looked it up. I’m super curious about what happens in it but I got too embarrassed to watch the whole thing.

  • Have you watched this particular video? I tried watching it but for some reason I got embarrassed and closed it only after a few seconds.

  • The scene where Oppenheimer is being interrogated and she’s on his lap staring right at his wife will haunt me for the rest of my life. I understand the metaphor, but it still sucks.

  • This particular course is about genocides, so famines in general aren’t really talked about (except this one). I can bring it up to him just to test the waters, see if just any famine can be considered a genocide or just the “holodomor.”

  • I am tempted to ask him about Churchill’s Famine and if that’s a subject worth discussing in our Genocide class.

  • This was me during my history class today:

  • I need the strength. Spoiler alert, Stalin was shit on the entire class today and it sucked, they even made fun of his lemon trees. I made a post for those curious.

  • It’s Holodomor week at school!

  • They were colonized by the same people so I can’t say I’m super surprised.

  • We definitely are on the same page, I just talk to talk :)

  • Yeah, you’re right. At the end of the day they will follow their handlers to their own detriment. It’s a terrifying reality for everyone involved, Europe and North America. With the UK implementing a draft, I wonder which other countries will follow…

  • I hope he’s bluffing but when it comes to these matters it seems you have to take it seriously. Threats like these don’t work if you believe they won’t follow through on it. I only say this because we learned about nuclear war strategies in my PoliSci class yesterday and my professor mentioned this Putin speech. He seems quite worried about escalation and so am I.

  • I don’t know, I guess reading between the lines it sounds like he would use them but I’m more than willing to be wrong. Then again I’m the type who doesn’t want to poke the bear, unlike NATO it seems. I think being in a NATO country also increases the anxiety around nuclear retaliation. We don’t have nukes but what’s truly stopping them from being dropped here? I’m not a fan of our leaders putting our lives on the line knowing they have bunkers to hide in…

  • They’re hungry for mutually assured destruction at the expenses of everyone who didn’t consent to this and it’s terrifying.

  • I think France is stupid enough but Germany did say they wouldn’t drop troops in Ukraine so I think that’s admission of not wanting a direct war with Russia on their end. I do think the US and Canada are stupid enough to push it, though.

  • That’s a bad move for NATO since Putin just had a speech where he said if NATO drops troops in Ukraine he will use nukes.

  • I guess I’ll read it just to say I have, but I won’t be happy about it 😡

  • I’ve never read Animal Farm or 1984, is it even worth it?
