  • The White House fired back almost immediately, predicting an eventual victory.

    “Each executive order will hold up in court because every action of the Trump-Vance administration is completely lawful,” said Harrison Fields, a White House spokesman. “Any legal challenge against it is nothing more than an attempt to undermine the will of the American people.”

  • I mean, one thing to keep in mind is that the Republicans stopped caring about optics once they secured the govt. They can now say and do what they want with little to no repercussions.

    So, calling out their hipocrisy is good for documentation sake, but sadly, that is about it.

  • The idea was to point users to a site that looks at an overview of past issues with a news source. I was unaware that this specific site was very loose with their grading of news sites.

    I am not sure if you are aware, but in online forums, it is rare that someone will even read past the headline before giving their opinion. Expecting everybody to dedicate the time and effort for a thorough inspection of every news provider and their sources is a bit of a high ask, especially now with people trying to manage their lives and the onslaught of political breaking news.

    If you would like to do a service to people, you can mention what your research has come to in those various areas. If they are skeptical, they can then double check your work.

  • American people are protesting. Politicians are either actively allowing this behavior or saying, "Oh-no, he can't do that! What he did is very bad!" Unfortunately, politicians are not beholden to the people they are supposedly representing.
