  • The average American is already stretched to the breaking point with what overinflated goods they can afford. We'll soon see people either buy just the bare essentials or start stealing at a much higher rate than we already have. Food riots might very well be a thing in the world's richest country soon.

  • Depending on the surroundings you might have a spotty connection if using Bluetooth to stream your audio from let's say your phone to a plugged in wireless speaker. I've personally had to pair and unpair failed connections and replace several wireless headphones because their batteries don't last longer than 4 or 5 months from unboxing. I'd much rather rely on a high quality pair of headphones that don't need charging and last me years at a time with no issue so long as I keep the headphone jack clear of debris.

  • He's not leaving Red Bull and plans to retire there SMH.

  • Those Pop figures sure do look alike when you take them out of their packaging. I can't really tell what any of them are supposed to be at a glance.

  • Nice to see Ferrari doing well so far.

  • There are plenty of career Hank Hills and SpongeBobs who are just too dedicated to the job to care about being screwed over.

  • I'm grateful for OPs who paste at least some of the relevant information into the post without having to click on the link. Personally it's better to avoid going to the site since you're bombarded with cookie notices, subscription solicitations, browser notification requests, and even ads of you're not using uBlock.

  • They had the same processor used in the PS2 onboard until the next revisions cut costs and started to use software emulation to achieve the same results instead. Newer revisions then started getting rid of it altogether.

  • I'd say the PS3 was the pinnacle of console gaming, at least with the early 60GB models. They had full backwards compatibility with PS1 and PS2 discs and DVDs while adding a Blu-ray player and internal hard drive to eliminate the need of memory cards. Access to online multiplayer and PSN was also totally free until MS showed Sony how much they could charge for the next generation of consoles. While it had its fair share of controversies like the initial price tag, PSN hack, and updating the firmware to no longer boot custom Linux OSs, it generally had the most features that any casual fan would enjoy.

  • Instead of trusting DLink with an off the shelf NAS, it might be easier to build your own with a Raspberry Pi running openmediavault hooked up to a couple of USB hard drives. It's worked well for me for over 6 years now with no issue and could cost way less.

  • Lemme.ee is fine. It wouldn't hurt to have multiple accounts in different instances in case one goes down for maintenance so you can keep browsing. I recommend dbzero since they're techy and don't lean on politics as much as other instances.

  • Opting out still seems like they're pinkie promising they won't spy on you. There's no guarantee they're not using all those sensors on your car to keep tabs on you. The only thing they can't do is sell your data without getting caught. Are there any guides to install a faraday cage on the telemetry antenna? I miss having dumb cheap vehicles.

  • This. Give us a full 3D remake of either FFVI or FFVIII and please don't spread it out over 3 games! We don't need to explore the world map and every single dungeon in stretched out, agonizing detail.

  • Like a parasitic worm lodged in RFK's brain you mean.

  • They'll look great at back of the pole positions.

  • If horses aren't real then where is the power coming from the car's engine? Checkmate.

  • It's as stale as our collective taste for it apparently. We'd have had pro reform politicians elected to power otherwise.

  • Part of the reason is because most people don't notice the lawsuits or think this is boilerplate legal stuff that happens in the background all the time. They're too distracted by the entertainment side of things.

  • Some of my fellow Chicanos can be stupid motherfuckers. They're proud of being Mexican yet ignore the racist shit spewed by Trump and vote for him anyways for "the economy." I'm a full citizen but I really hope the naturalized ones who voted for him lose their citizenship and get deported. It's like pulling the ladder behind you is such a self destructive human instinct.
