  • This totally made my day. Thank you!

  • I expected better, i.e., she didn't spend a single moment looking into Trump as a candidate and just believed everything he and his cronies said.

  • He donated about $1M to Trump's campaign and nearly $2M to Republican political campaigns. These were first time donations of this size. He basically bought himself a pardon.

  • It's all "State's rights" with fascists until it's more useful just to ignore and override them. You cannot trust what a fascist says, only what they do.

  • You're right, we need both. The key to unseating Republicans is Democrats that are worth at least half a shit.

  • That's one thing I love about the Lemmy community compared to Reddit. I was frequently downvoted to oblivion when asking simple questions, usually just asking for clarification, so I wouldn't get an answer. That hasn't happened to me once on Lemmy.

  • I was wrong, it's about 300-500w. I own a Tesla (yes, I know) and it goes down around 8-10% a day if it's on "sentry mode" and not plugged in. That's not typically an issue as there's rarely a reason to have it in sentry mode long term somewhere that it doesn't have power, usually just a few hours at most if we're out, so it'll lose 1-3%.

  • I'd say it's pretty reasonable. Six to seven cameras, the cellular modem, and the computer system running for processing the video for motion and tamper detection, alerting the owner, and being on standby for remote commands.

    Edit: I was wrong, it's about 300-500w.

  • Not even close to enough. Teslas turn all of that off at 20%. Running enough of the system to capture and process video takes about 500-1000w, so around 1% battery every hour or two.

    Edit: derp, it's 300-500w.

  • I own a Tesla and I cheer at the news. While I don't particularly want someone to burn mine before it sells, I wouldn't begrudge whoever did it.

  • Looks like Türkiye to me.

  • I've had it happen to me, unintentionally. I worked in a retail store with a helium tank for inflating balloons. We thought it was the height of comedy to take a breath of helium when we did our overhead announcements. I decided to make a long announcement, so I exhaled as much as possible and took a deep breath of helium. The next thing I remember, I'm on the ground, my head hurts, and people are asking me if I'm okay. Apparently I made it about three steps before collapsing. I have no recollection of walking or passing out.

  • Make it a baker's dozen because I played it too! I never beat the sequel, though.

  • CrossCode was SO good! It's a great game and I'm always thrilled when I find others that played it.

Did you know its studio, Radical Fish, has another game coming?

  • It's a problem for men with penises that are long when flaccid. Their penises can touch the inside of the bowl when they're seated unless they hold their penis up.

  • I think now is a great time to separate pride events from these corporate scum. They never have been and will never be allies, just opportunists who would just as willingly burn parades to the ground if it maximizes profit. The capitalist machine will never be your friend.
