We are talking about a switch to a predominantly vegan diet. People need to get the protein they got from meat from somewhere else.

But then humans can also eat that soy meal to get their proteins. It's pretty tasty, I eat it regularly.

How about you take the study at hand and point out, where it is not well done?

Or you could use positive reinforcement instead of belittling your kids. You can explain, why stuff they did was wrong without calling them dumb. They are kids after all, they don't know stuff, have a lot to learn and it is hard for them to completely grasp the consequences of their actions.

Do you have any sources on hand? It's hard to google for this stuff without running into sites by PETA etc, which are too biased for my taste.

But then you doubt the number and not the general effect of reducing carbon emissions by switching to a plant-based diet, right? Because it is pretty obvious, that growing plants and then feeding those plants to animals is way more inefficient than eating the plants without extra steps.

Why? Because all the animal herders will still produce lots of meat at a loss and then just burn everything no one wants to eat?

It's hard to find good nutritional yeast though. Since they are quite expensive, it is not easy to try around until you find one, that does not taste like garbage.

Only 1% of americans work in the primary sector and that is not only comprised of farmers. Furthermore, there are more farming products than dairy, oats for oat milk have to be farmed somewhere as well.

It depends on the brand of oat milk, some work, some don't.

There is an easy fix for quite some amount (60%) of the microplastics generated from tires: install a vacuum sucking the stuff in.

There is an easy solution for this: Tax property instead of income.

Illegal is the wrong adjective for asylum seekers, because the right of asylum explicitly states, that you do not have to do anything before arriving in the EU. There is no way of seeking asylum illegally.

Would still be nicer to have sunlight for the communal areas, but that sounds like a working solution. Probably profit goes into the drain though, because you get less units you can rent out and people will pay less for apartments with only a shared bathroom and kitchen.

You also would expect, that this guy already published something, so people are now looking forward to his new game. Why should I be hyped about a game by a 13-year old? I mean, it sure is impressive, but it doesn't look like a really fun game.

How does this in any way counter my points? They even get subsidized to do it, meaning, that it is too expensive else. And I already stated, that there are buildings, that are more suitable than others. Just look at the absolute numbers, they are talking about 20k units in the next decade. That's literally nothing.

If the developers, that attempt this, all go bankrupt, it does not help at all. If you want to push private companies into doing something unprofitable, you need to subsidize it or the government to do it on its own. For some of these buildings its cheaper to just build a new apartment complex instead of retrofitting them.
