They are just not arresting as many people and de facto legalizing more crimes. The NL is a hub for organized crime, drug trafficking and human trafficking.

They don't have to pay for it and in a rapidly aging country with a very low birth rate they may not have enough people of military age to put together an army at this point.

Taiwan, the island occupied by Japan during the war then the nationalists ran off to it and declared themselves independent because Mao didn't have a navy? Imagine if the republicans ran off to Hawaii and declared independence then China formed a military alliance with them.

Conversely why do we act horrified that someone in the past didn't act according to standards that only exist today and pressures that don't.

My wife does this with index cards. I have to try to figure out what she wrote down (1? l?) and she crosses out an old one and writes the new one in a random spot so I have to study the card to find the live pw.

I'd be open to using a pw manager then I read the comments here and everyone is suggesting different apps, arguing over how inconvenient one or the other it, various issues, etc. It doesn't make me feel like taking action if everything feels sketchy.

These people are directly involved. The people on the highway have no control over anything in Gaza and it has nothing to do with their daily lives.

What exactly is it accomplishing? You think anyone is unaware of Gaza at this point? People don't care to be blunt. Pissing people off just makes life a little more miserable for people who have nothing to do with the issue.

Blocking traffic in Israel would make a much bigger difference.

I just occasionally wipe everything. I have to reenter passwords and such but it isn't a big deal.

No certs and degree isn't in CS. I just have lots of experience.

My pathway was basically:

1. Got a low tier job as a glorified intern (paid)
2. Switched jobs a few times, pay increasing each time. Chose interesting jobs.
3. Left a low paying gov job for contract work. Got hired full time by one of my contractors.
4. Have stayed at that job. Golden handcuffs.
