My grandparents voted for Trump despite myself and my family telling them we won't visit them in the US again if they did. Guess who they chose over us? We're sticking to our word, I have no intention of ever stepping foot in the US until it gets its collective shit together.
Those accounts are all one person, their original account was called Antiyanks. Not sure if it's mental illness or an obsession (or both), but they keep making accounts over and over and over, all of which get banned quickly because they're hostile to everyone. I could never imagine spending literal months of my time making hundreds of accounts just to yell at people, yet this guy does exactly that.
Plus, we live in a time where building a computer has never been easier. Everything is pretty clearly labeled, connectors rarely go in multiple places so it's difficult to mix up connections, and there are tons of guides online to assist you. Putting together a PC today is like putting together expensive Legos, I managed to succeed on my first try with no experience and later built 2 more.
I see a lot of the former on Lemmy too, unfortunately. Certain inflammatory users like to treat being heavily downvoted as some sort of victory and will write a long rant about it in an edit, because all of the "liberals" (that being anyone who disagrees with them) on this platform just can't handle the truth that only they apparently see. They think they're owed a multi paragraph point by point rebuttal of every point they make no matter how blatantly stupid or wrong it is. They never consider whether their arguments are even worth bothering with a rebuttal in the first place, and anyone who does try and argue usually gets nowhere.
They're just trying to get a rise out of people. Nothing of substance.
