Nah, I just saw the other comment as well and wanted to try to clear things up. I made the joke first in the post and was afraid people would think I as serious.
"On June 30, its first drug-manufacturing experiment succeeded in growing crystals of the drug ritonavir, which is used for the treatment of HIV, in orbit."
I had a PAX when they first came out and never really got the chance to figure out how to use it. I could never find the right temp and it felt like i was going through the bud too fast. I suppose i just didn't know how to use it.
I didn't have it very long because, unfortunately, it was confiscated by the authorities and i never got another one.
"I'd become paralyzed with fear over the fact that anything exists at all"..."I now find myself seeing the universe, consciousness and death very differently (largely in a good way.)"
It really does help your mind come up with some awesome ideas.
I don't know if it was weed specifically or my education and life experiences, but I'm comfortable with the idea that we can't know anything with absolute certainty. And since none of the questions about our existence can be answered (yet?) we get to be creative.
It totally makes sense if they're a time traveling, evolved species from our own just trying to learn about its past. Or maybe just site seeing. Either way, their trip didn't seem to end well.
I really don't feel comfortable asking, but I'm going to anyways. How much have you spent? A range would be acceptable if you don't want to say the exact amount.
I've only taken a few shop classes in high school. But one time i got to refurbish a bunch of old lumber into a doghouse. It was pretty shitty, but it worked and the dog loved it.
I felt the exact same way reading that.
Thanks op! This is the mindset i want to keep.
