  • They’re a trillion dollar company. Hopefully they pay their dues.

  • I don’t think keeping redundant jobs around is a good policy to help people. It’s much better to build stronger social safety nets. You’re not going to get me to care about someone losing their job. It happens literally every day all around the world to untold numbers of people.

I am callous to this. I’m jaded. It’s absolutely not an okay SYSTEM. I am not going to waste time focusing on the jobs lost because DeSanctimonious and The Mouse got into a tiff about whether LGBT folks should be allowed to live. It’s stupid. Those people will be fine in the long run. The vast majority of them are privileged and will be able to make it through unscathed. Nobody’s going to die because of this.

  • They’ll find new jobs. Again: I do not fucking care. I hope they find new employment quickly and that they have savings enough to support themselves and any dependents. If they don’t, they will have unemployment. I don’t expect privileged Floridian government officials to be living paycheck to paycheck, so again: I don’t fucking care.

  • No I just don’t really care when people lose their jobs

  • I don’t care.

  • Reddthat user having a bad take what a shocker

  • Okay, I agree with DeSantis then. Disney shouldn’t own a town. His reasons are shitty and my reasons are anticapitalist.

  • Disney and Florida taking an L? Pop the champagne!

  • I’ve been inside of data centers that are in an otherwise normal office building. Hospitals and stuff too. This could be a useful technology.

  • Heat pumps can be used to move heat around in a building. If the data center is directly adjacent to housing, this would be trivial to implement efficiently. The same system cooling the data center would be heating homes.

In the summer though, you’d have to push that heat to atmosphere, so this only helps in colder climates

  • In case you needed to be reminded that the fascistic democrats are the moderates here.

  • #ABSOLUTELY PROPRIETARY

  • This is it. This is how these companies think.

  • Shhhhh it’s okay to let people enjoy things

  • “I didn’t hear your voice in this” ???

My dude. I’m a random stranger on the internet. You just met me. Come on.

I’ve supported the Palestinian people since day one. And I’ll gladly condemn any he actions or Hamas, though I can understand that the way their people have been treated over the years would lead them to this. It’s Israel’s 9/11. Just like America; this was an inevitability for Israel.

  • They’re ethnically cleansing Gaza as we speak. I understand you are likely an American with pro-Israel sentiment, likely born out of a respect for the Jewish people and decades of history of America supporting this state, but you need to stop missing the forest for the trees here. They are committing war crimes on the daily, bombing hospitals and refugee camps. This is not acceptable and is a crime against humanity.

  • And by then the genocide will be complete

  • I think I would title this article differently. “Republicans attempting to erode voting rights in key states”
