You can't just show sackboy and littlebigplanet in the thumbnail. you gave me hope it would be an article about how mediamolicule is back and lbp4 being announced. I gave up consoles after the ps3 but if theres one exclusive that could rope me back in it would be that. Fuck Sony you had one good series that I would love to bond over with my kids and you let it die a slow horrible death. If you played your cards right you could have had a game series that rivaled minecraft itself for popularity amongst everyone.
Circuit analysis was so boring and teedious I didnt like doing it at all. Thanks for the relatable meme for all dozen of us EE on sciencememes
The Dynavap m7xl Rosium. I don't think you even have to know what a dynavap is or what its used for to appreciate its aesthetic appeal.
Its the most beautiful metal stick ive ever had the pleasure of holding. The way it changes color as it reflects light is so cool. You can just spin it around and fidget with the cap while watching the colors. I am considering get in a spinning base to put it on so I can watch it rotate automatically
The picture is funny with context dark as shit though lol I wonder which artist took the time to draw that masterpiece
Edit: the artist credits is hidden in top right green line car panel. Thanks Kaskoeb
At least we will have mummy jerky... For now.
Assuming this is OC, next time do a little better at cropping and scaling. Ypu move that plane to the far right under yhe arrow and youve got 2/3 of the blank canvas to work with. I don't expect much effort on meme post especially NDC but I would like to actually be able to read the tweets without zooming in and theres enough white space to scale them up.
I have tried all these on Linux through proton.
Dusk - the OG boomer shooter revival game, should be the first game to try to see if you like these kinds of fps.
Amid evil - beautiful looking FPS instead of firing guns you fire unique magical weapons.
Ultrakill - extremely difficult movement shooter with a very interesting setting and lore. Its still not fully complete theres like a final layer thats still cooking but what's there is worth experiencing.
Selaco - FEAR inspired FPS built in GZDoom somehow. Tight movement, great gunplay, interesting enemy difficulty progression, superior AI that will flank your ass and hammer you with what feels like tactical actions, great interactive environments.
Turbo ultrakill- one of the most fun and bombastic FPS ive ever played. Play as a merc who gets turned into a living chainsaw as you ruin the plans of wannabe trancendent techno gods and run away super AI one bullet at a time
Cultic - plays heavy into blood and residents evil 4 inspirations to deliver a very mood atmospheric FPS with the best goddamn dynamite throwing mechanics since OG Blood itself. The single dev is really passionate and is constantly sharing updates to episode 2.
Ion Fury + ion fury aftershock A love letter to the best parts of build engine games of the 90s. Its incredibly well made build engine game with huge sprawling enviroments and too many secrets. The pistol with auto-lockon is hands down the best pistol Ive every used in any game. Aftershock DLC is even better than the base game.
Zortch - another passion project made by one person with an in-house engine coded just for the game. The enemy AI moves around a lot and the cartoony graphics and plot make it more of a light hearted title to have fun with like a game you would find on the N64. Its only 5$ and easily worth it.
I remember extremely accurately almost every significant detail from my life from a very early child. Everything thats ever happened to me of significance I remember in almost completely as if it just happened. I can't remember every conversation word for word, but I can remember their general gist and key snippits of the conversation. Even the super emotional high energy ones don't blur much.
I can keep track of every single one of my possessions and know exactly where they are. I spent much of my life learning and internalizing large amounts of knowledge with relative ease. Why yes I do have a STEM background how did you guess?
It gets incredibly exhausting keeping track of so many minute details, knowing so many general concepts and facts spread across most aspects of human knowledge. Having decades worth of old memories resurface every day as if they had just happened with the same emotional weight.
My ability to remember reserves a lot of space in my neural network. My mind feels taxed and spent in a way thats hard to explain. Every step of my existance from childhood to now a constant feeling of ever present continuity. I can 'feel' how the present iteration of my experience is intrinsically connected to everything I experienced the moment before.
Cannabis helps greatly with forgetting and getting into a meditative mode of being in the moment. Its so good to just be, pure meditative blissful vibing with here and now.
Its easy for us rougelike enjoyer's to forget but the average person isn't looking for entertainment where they die over and over slowly learning enemy patterns and unlocking new stuff. It takes a special kind of masochistic challenge chasing nerd to get something out of these kinds of games.
If microsoft is a classy gangster wearing feather hats casually extorting you in the broad of day but in a really charming way, Google is the deranged junkie in the back alley waiting to come at you screaming with a knife demanding your xanax pills private information
Great meme post! This comment section is a scorching hot dumpster fire that beamed carcinogens directly into my retinas. Thanks I hate it.
The best light is the cheap usba plastic bulb ones that plug into any power bank. They last forever on battery power and provide decent enough light.
Great leader has mandated all must be implanted with explosive chip at base of the spine. The AM radio sometimes acts as a secondary proximity kill switch.
Thats a very ideal picture of a corpse thats been buried in the ground without a coffin that deep. Must have used one hell of an embalmer.
Also yeah me and the family still miss and talk about the dead pets. You never forget your loved ones and keep the memories alive.
I didn't know gold digger was perojatorive, I thought it was just the common name given for that kind of behavior.
Human beings at base are emotionally complex, greedy, self- interested horny apes driven by comfort and convinence. Theres no shame in acknowledging less virtuous parts of our animalistic nature and addressing their manifestions of behavior in ourselves and others honestly.
Does it suck that some people are materialistic? Yes, but I dont shame them for it. That comes from part instinctual nature and part of social conditioning for hierarchical society. Theres plenty of cultures where marriage for political and financial power plays is completely publically normalized. Just not the one where I or presumably OP come from.
I agree that a 65 year old person being with a 25 year old person introduces a yuck factor but an conventionally named 'prerogative' for that behavior doesn't come to mind especially not when I wrote the comment. Would 'Youth-digger' be appropriate?
You'll both have lots of time to get used to the idea. Sorry to hear that your daughter turned into a gold digger marrying out of financial convinence instead of love. Its kind of unsavory and understandable why its causing some cognitive dissonance. But well thats the kind of thing our society incentivises and she's an adult who can make her own choices. Its hard to judge too hard. Hope the husband is alright personality wise and even if this is dark to say, you can take some solice in that statistically speaking its probably not going to last too long and she will probably inherit some assets. If it all burns down it will be a hard but good lesson in not being with people just to extract value out of them.
Since we are talking hypotheticals, an ideal scenario would be a nearly completely renewables approach where each household is its own self contained energy production center equippef with solar arrays, wind turbines, thermoelectric generators. Various means of production. And have either propane or diesel generator as a backup. You know your average overall watt-hour usage for the household and try to have enough battery capacity to satisfy it for a week or two of bad weather.
Most household electrical wiring is redone for DC transmission and all consumer appliances possible are run straight on DC for optimal efficency. Energy efficent heat pumps for cooling and heating. energy efficent cooking appliances like induction heaters. Electric cars that act as backup battery banks would be awesome.
Industrial zones would be much harder as you need huge solar panel or wind turbine arrays to get the megawatt and gigawatts needed to run a factory. Most factories are decades old running on the most energy ineffient assembly lines you can think of. A energy mandate that calculated and taxed total energy efficency compared to national average for factory size and the would be a start.
Humanity simply does not "stop" because we go through an energy crisis. We did fine enough before the industrial revoltion and renewables + energy efficent consumer devices have improved a bunch. The economy would tank and what renewable energy made would be a premium commodity and the system would adapt to use it best as possible. But things would go on.
You are welcome. Im happy if my writings can inform a few people from time to time. Yes thats absolutely what it means if you read the fine print of ecosia they tell you how they collect your data including IP address+ search terms and share it with google and Microsoft's ad network to show you ads through ecosia. So your data is still coming back google and Microsoft to be sold to the highest bidder. Everyones gotta get a cut profititing off your data, except for you. At least a small bit of that profit goes to the trees I guess.
I always felt that humanoid aliens were also a way to get the audience to more easily emotionally connect and treat them as characters. Its hard to portray a truly alien lifeforms with alien behavior like you would find in a speculative evolution fiction art book while also giving them a human understandable emotionally driven narrative and space age tech for the plot of a story. Its easier to relate to blue cat person than to the Blob I guess is my point.
I really like the comic Humanity Lost for its better representation of alien life in its story. The author really cares about that kind of world building ad im here for it really great stuff.
