In addition to firetv being built into many tvs the built in apps on smart tvs are slow compared to a lot of external devices. They also send a lot of data back home and the ones not based on a big platform don't get updated as often or have the same amount to choose from.

I have apple TVs and even the older models from 2015 is faster than smart tvs I've used.

Yeah I don't see feedback and I had to turn off my ad blocker for subscribe to show.

I think you need some reevaluation if "the best we'll get" is a defense. I want him gone but if the replacement would definitely be worse it's best to replace the republicans who won't consider anything if democrats want it first.

I don't see anyone defending him or saying he's right. They're pointing out that it wasn't only him. Voting along with republicans isn't a positive thing. He's just the best we'll get because when he's gone he's going to be replaced with a maga nutjob.

Are you using cloudflare DNS? I was having that issue and when I switched from cloudflare DNS to opendns I stopped getting the captcha loop. It really makes no sense to me because those captcha pages were cloudflare ones.

I'm happy as long as Siri doesn't get worse like Alexa, who will turn on a fan in another room when I say "Alexa, turn on the fan" but if I say turn off the fan it turns off the correct one.

Lack of an official tvOS app and Plex being easy to set up for my family keeps me from switching.

That or tracking anonymous data from people's phones. Hopefully if that's it they go based on if the maps actually load instead of just bars because there's plenty of places with good signal but unusable data due to congestion.

Apple maps will actually suggest storing offline maps if an area you'll be going through is known to have bad cell service. Not sure how they're determining where there's bad service.

This one isn't click bait. It's not about him saying something dumb, it's about something really dumb he did and in depth. If any other CEO did what this article outlines it would still be worth reading after getting some popcorn ready.

There is no logical reason to nuke anyone for 9/11. The only reason would be revenge which is emotional. Many of us watching Russia commiting horrors in Ukraine would like to see Russia nuked but rationally that would only make things worse. The main use of having nukes is them being a deterrent for other countries invading us or firing their own nukes at us.

The really infuriating ones are the ones coming from email addresses through my carrier's email to text gateway despite having email to text blocked on every line on my account.

I love my smart stuff but I've been buying zigbee whenever possible. You can't trust the cloud even from big companies. Google got rid of the API for nest devices without a replacement ready so I went over a year without being unable to control it with home assistant. Alexa got dumber over time to the point telling her "turn on the fan" while in my bedroom turned on the fan in my mother's room but telling it to turn off the fan turned off the fan in my bedroom like it was supposed to.

Looks great so far, finally a good mark down editor. One thing, if you go to comment on a post the cancel button doesn't do anything for me.
