  • There’s already callerid authentication (stir/shaken). The problem is these companies were easily getting real numbers assigned instead of just spoofing so they were verified. This change makes it harder for them to get numbers assigned because when their traffic gets blocked right now they just pop up under a new name and get more numbers.

If they can stop these companies from getting numbers they can hopefully start blocking unverified numbers. Unfortunately I get calls from drs still that aren’t verified despite it being a requirement to support it now.

  • I would really like to see a bot that posts media bias information from one of the trusted sites for that information on every post. I’m not capable of creating one but had looked around and unfortunately none of them seem to offer an api.

  • Whether it was free or not doesn’t really matter. I don’t agree with Google at fault because the bridge should have been blocked physically if it collapsed years ago. The law suit is against a bunch of property companies so it sounds like they added google just because.

  • People who are fat know they’re fat. But it’s not as easy as just stop eating. Sugar sets off the pleasure feeling in your brain. Think of overeating like being addicted to a drug except you cant never eat so you can’t stop using the drug.

I go back and forth between being extremely underweight and slightly overweight. It all depends on my stress and anxiety levels.

You can choose not to be an asshole and that choice should be way easier than dieting. Treating fat people badly is likely going to make them depressed then eat some more. You have no need to call out anyone for being fat when you could easily just not say anything at all. When you see ugly peoples do you also go up to them and tell them or do you just ignore it?

  • My mom's LG is so slow it was rage inducing and it's a new tv. My Samsung is better but still not great. The remotes are both terrible and neither is anywhere near the speed of an old apple tv.

There's also still privacy issues. One of the reasons the TV's are cheap these days is because they sell your data.
