  • The richer the country, the less children are born per-household. The one-child policy couldn't have helped either

  • I'd be down to pay YouTube to watch 2k - 4k videos, I'm shocked they allow people to upload videos on that resolution to begin with.

Now, if they start intentionally blocking adblockers, or have a way to force around them (like Twitch) I'd immediately stop using it (like Twitch)

  • I don't think they actively try to release a bad product, but anything good is an anomaly of using minimal effort

  • I don't mind religion, it's the crazies that use their religion to push hate that are the problem.

  • The rise of Linux is upon us

  • I 100% want a market crash. When I was fresh out of college and checking out possible houses, even in more rural areas, it just never seemed like I'd be able to own a home. It's so much worse now than when I graduated. Literally cannot see a future where I own a home unless I inherit from my parents.

There will absolutely be a population crash in the US & other countries suffering from the housing crisis, nobody will feel like they can raise a family. None of my co-workers or friends foresee ever starting one if they can't get a house.

Was watching a video on YouTube, some hyperactive landlord "influencer" type was bitching how new homes were getting built in his town. Went on and on about how it's bad for everyone if more homes get built and if prices went down. Of course, everyone was tearing him apart in the comments.

We need more homes, we need lower prices, unsure if it'll happen though.

  • I 100% refuse to buy a car unless there's a jailbrake option. I don't want to get an update while I'm trying to get to work

  • No, this won't kill Reddit. If they can essentially remove every third-party app, they'll easily be able to start selling user data. Whether we like it or not, the majority stayed on Reddit.

Nothing short of somehow breaking through ad blockers like Twitch did will make people stop using it, even if that.

  • Coming to a scalper near you!

  • SENATOR?!?! Woman is 90 and is a Senator?! Jesus Christ can we stop voting these dinos

  • Literally can't live without the internet these days. It needs to be a protected utility like any other.

  • It's pretty insane how nuts these people are. They're willing to throw away their lives, maybe even kill others because their glorious leader is getting in trouble.

  • It really depends on the person and the hardware. I've seen people with PC-VR setups that get sick, but are 100% okay with wireless. I think it's an issue of FOV, FPS, and overall just getting used to wearing a big box on your face.

I see a ton of people shitting on VR because they get sick, saying that it's just a gimmick and it'll pass. I think it's a neat piece of tech that deserves to get better, hopefully the issues will be ironed out over the generations.
