  • 35°C with 100% humidity can be fatal to humans

46°C with 50% humidity can be fatal to humans

Humans can not survive for extended lengths at these temperatures and humidities.

Saying "40 ain't dangerously hot" is dumb.

  • You could just find one with low pressure. You don't need a high power jet.

Simply soaking your crack with water and wiping is a big help.

I've never heard of your problem, though, so it's an interesting point. I know some bidets even have intended settings to wash your front as a woman.

  • Water doesn't have to be 0°C (32°F) to freeze.

Depending on your elevation, it can change.

If the water in your pipes is even close to 1°C you have a serious problem.

You can also hook a bidet to your hot water line

The first bit of water will be wall temperature water and it will take a bit to fully warm up because you have to clear out the lines (some bidets will drain the first bit of water before squirting you)

  • Imagine if I took peanut butter and smeared it all on your arm.

Would you wipe it off with dry toilet paper and call it clean?

Just imagine if, instead of peanut butter, it was something else...

Why is it alright to just leave that between your cheeks?

  • No one understands what a bidet really is.

In the old days, they were a separate free-standing device. Not a lot of people have space or money to add one of these types of bidets to their bathrooms

Now they make them as toilet seat attachments that don't require extra space and really aren't that expensive.

But people don't know. Older people will be like, "Oh a bidet? No I don't want another toilet like device in my bathroom"

So that gets rid of all those people.

Next you have the people that know about the new style bidets that's just a fancy toilet seat.

Their biggest deterrent is probably cold water. Spraying cold water on their butt doesn't appeal to most people.

You can get bidets that heat the water, but you have to have power behind your toilet, which not everyone has.

Then you have older people that just can't work them or don't feel like they can. Like my grandfather, I installed one with all the bells and whistles for him. Yet hitting a button and doing all that was too complicated. He was 90+ and could barely use a cell phone for basic functions. But he'd rather wipe his butt like he knew than mess with the "complicated" bidet.

Eventually everyone is going to own a bidet, it really is the way to go.

    We just aren't there yet.

  • It's scummy but not a scam

Personally, I like the pre-tax amounts displayed. I should know that I am paying 10 dollars for a shirt and that the government is taking an extra dollar. Rather than just being told, the shirt costs 11 dollars. Price tag saying 10+1 would be fine, but tax should always be displayed. Taxes shouldn't be hidden.

  • Even if you got rid of the 1000 roaches. You'll always think there are a ton up there. There could be 10,000 in a couple of months after you get "rid" of the 1000.

You can physically make it impossible for a person to get in your attic. You can't do that with roaches.

  • I mean, it's been a while since I have had a cinnamon roll with raisins

But I do feel like they were tangy and not as sweet as the cinnamon roll

There are probably sweeter raisins and more sour raisins, just like grapes.

  • I'm not the biggest fan of raisins. Definitely wouldn't put them in any pantries.

    Fresh grapes are amazing.

Not really big on dry fruit. Haven't really been that adventurous with that stuff though.

I think raisins in pantries is more about a random sour or texture rather than the actual raisin being bad tasting.

A cinnamon roll tastes amazing without raisins. Putting sour chewy landmines in it does not make it any better.

  • Anonymous...

    Distributed ledger...

    It's not really anonymous.

John Smith or 253832893 means exactly the same thing without more context. The only way you can tell you have the right John Smith is because we have 253-83-2893 as a social security number (lol social security system).

But if I see 253832893 on the Crypto ledger, I know 253832893 made a transaction. It could say John Smith and I'd be basically in the same spot of figuring out who it was.

Now, if 253832893 wallet paid a home mortgage for John Smith with Crypto, then I'd be closer to figure out who owns 253832893 wallet.

The whole point to Crypto is the block chain and the fact that they are very traceable.

Crypto can be anonymous if you're smart and you don't link yourself to your wallet. But once you are linked to a wallet, it is far from anonymous.

If John Smith wanted to sell me cocaine. Handing him cash is basically untraceable and anonymous. Sending him Crypto ties my wallet to his wallet with a transaction. If the cops seized his wallet and somehow figured out my wallet, they could tell every single time I purchased cocaine from him.

Yes, you can do your best to keep your name unlinked to your wallet number. But it's not foolproof. For example, if I was buying cocaine I wouldn't use my main Crypto wallet but a side wallet. If you only used it to pay for cocaine and filled the side wallet in an untraceable way. It's pretty anonymous.

But to those people that fill their Crypto wallets with their bank account and just think they are anonymous, they have another thing coming if someone wants to trace them.

  • Gold Standard

Linking money to a material with intrinsic value for it's value

    Gold has intrinsic value

US Dollar moved to be a Fiat Currency

US Dollar is backed by a Government

Crypto has zero intrinsic value, not linked to anything with intrinsic value, and not backed by a Government

Crypto is an imaginary "item" some people want to have valve. Value is created because of this want.

US Dollar is legal tinder for all US debts, Crypto is not

Crypto is not a currency but a digital commodity
