Yes, to screw with America's ability to play European countries against each other. Now he's mad they're not his little play things anymore.

That's Stellantis. It's the same company that's building cards that are now showing ads when the car stops at a red light.

We used to call those the AI winters. Barely any progress for years until someone has a great idea and suddenly there is a new form of AI and a new hype cycle again ending I in AI winter.

In a few years, somebody will find a way that leaves LLM in the dust but comes with its own set of limitations.

They perhaps don't need to. The staff in hospitals only got a few token coins as reward for the previous pandemic, and didn't get much raise or better working conditions since then. People are already walking away because overworked and underpaid. It's likely a lot of them just quit when a new pandemic would start and the hospitals can barely function.

And the retaliation to that retaliation is Poland blocking access to USA social media?

A normal leader would announce this in advance, start very small and increase this over a long time in a fixed pattern so everybody has time to adjust and build where needed.

A client with s very low budget wanted a solution for their filing. We suggested they could get more bang for their bucks with preprinted paper forms, pens and a cabinet than going for software. They were not amused.

I would, but some idiot decided that we need time zones instead of actual sun time. Then another idiot thought it was a good idea to take on the time from another time zone for cooperation and business. Then the biggest idiot of all figured daylight saving time was the best thing ever. So now we're two hours or of sync with the sun and now everyone is constantly jet lagged except for some early risers.
