  • There are, at least last I checked, no actual accounts. Users are anonymous but can pick a username for their posts. Since usernames aren't locked because there's no accounts, users use tripcodes to verify their identity. It's basically a hash. There are tripcode explorer programs so you can search for a particular string and it'll just brute force a bunch of random codes and show you the relevant ones. This fellow apparently searched for "satanzog." 5 or 6 string length is pretty easy to find. 8 in all caps is pretty nuts, that one probably took a while to find. Days at least. It reads like a LARP, and 4chan is known for that, but Elon is... Well, let's say this would not surprise me if it was actually him.

That's a lot of context but tl;dr this poster is a SERIOUS LARPer and Elon is weird enough to be that guy.

    Source: was edgy teen once.

  • The big Mac is probably better for your body. I mean less bad. Don't wanna really say "healthier" but I'm sure you get my meaning.

I Googled it and the bullshit Ai summary is REALLY going to bat for starfucks. First it compared a grande mocha to a whole big Mac combo (480 vs 1100 cal) , the when I specified "venti" and "sandwich" it decided to make the mocha a nonfat milk with no whip which brought it down to 400.

Regardless, 72g of sugar in that friggin thing.

  • A mission in starfield (shit game but honestly decent writing at the very least) included just this. A generation ship finally arrived at its destination long after FTL travel was invented to find that the intended colony planet was already a fancy resort planet. You have to broker some kind of agreement between the parties.

  • Afterward, Bandar told me privately that the Saudis were very worried about where Bush’s obsession with Iraq was going. The Saudis were alarmed that attacking Iraq would only benefit Iran and set in motion severe destabilizing repercussions across the region.

New headcanon, Bush knew the Saudis were behind 9/11 and invaded Iraq specifically to fuck them over. /s

Interesting read though. The 80% number believing Iraq was involved is not surprising to me, I just didn't realize the bush admin actually pushed that narrative.

  • no evidence linking Saddam Hussein to the September 11 attacks

I was a kid during all that, but my recollection is they didn't directly try to claim that he did? It just seemed like the country was swept up in the patriotic "glass the middle east" fever and went with it because murica fuck yeah, and it was part of the GWOT, but the messaging was all "evil dictator wmds etc." and not "saddam did 9/11." Though I was probably in high school before I could even articulate the difference between Iraq and Afghanistan, so I could be mistaken.

  • I couldn't tell you why.

Because steam always has a plethora of amazing games on sale. You could never buy a full price game and still never run out of awesome things to play. And even if there is a particular game you want, it'll almost certainly be on sale within a few months. I'd have to double check, but I don't think I've paid more than 40 bucks for any single game in years.

  • Citing a Russian propagandist who has been condemned by many of his colleagues. Nice. But what do the Ukrainian people really think?

    Keep lying tho

Hilariously, in the 2014 ish time period, the overwhelming majority of Ukrainians were against joining nato. It shot to over 80% in favor by October 2022. Wonder why that happened?

But let's get back to the real issue at hand. 1142 IS BIGGER THAN 3. IS PUTIN REALLY BAD AT NUMBERS? ANSWER ME IVAN!
