  • I don't know what they were teaching you at the course, but home/personal IoT was never the most interesting thing in the field. IoT sees a lot more interest and use in industrial application, for example stuff like logistics, farming, automation, measuring, stuff like traffic signals and smart grids, and so on

  • Well, in that case I do agree with you. If they gain independence, the subsidies should stop. I mean, that's only natural

And yes, I don't think it would be a wise choice for greenland to do, but ultimately they should still have that choice, otherwise it's just a glorified colony

  • Actually, greenlanders have polled and voted to become independent as a supermajority, they just haven't started the process of independence yet.

I expect that the process towards independence for greenland is going to be delayed in light of recent events though. I can't imagine they'd want to go through with it right now

Either way, Denmark has come out and said in the past that they will respect the wishes of greenland

    Edit: here's a recent poll I believe https://www.euractiv.com/section/politics/news/virtually-no-greenlander-wants-to-join-the-us-poll-finds/

  • I think vision would fall girly within the realms of physics. I don't know if you can justifiably call it visual anymore when it incorporates magic

It's like, if there's magic bow that launches arrows at a far greater rate than it normally would, would you say that the energy comes from the buildup and release of tension in the wood? There's another element there, which enhances the thing

  • It's good it didn't, otherwise it's possible that all the hydrogen in the ocean would be fused into helium by now

Well, more likely it would significantly heat up earth due to the amount of energy released first, cooking everything/starting an endless cooking->extinction->cooling cycle

  • It should still be really easy to first time the tutorial boss if you have like, any experience in games where you need to dodge telegraphed attacks

Sure, someone new to video games in general would struggle. Someone who played at least a tiny bit of Elden ring? Should feel completely natural

  • Logical

    Jump
  • Being neurodivergent in general has meant that basically all the "common sense" personal advice doesn't apply to me I've learned

"Struggling to be productive? Just remove all distractions!" Nope, doesn't work, never worked. In fact it makes it worse

"Struggling to sleep? Just try XYZ and keep a regular sleep schedule!", nope, do my own thing, works better

"Struggling with burnout/exhaustion? You need to go and do things!" Nope, that will make it worse

And so on and so on

  • The point is, is that it doesn't matter. Companies are not true allies, they just do whatever earn them the most money and PR

If it means to become literal Nazis, then they become literal Nazis. And sell the supplies to the gas chambers
