Good luck on settling into the new place and schedule!
My sister is a keen baker as well, but it works out quite nicely for us — she's excellent at doing sweet things, and I like to do bread, so we've got a good exchange situation going on. But yeah, absolutely nothing wrong with buying it when the time and/or effort is needed elsewhere first
You could get into baking bread! It doesn't require much effort or money, it's interesting (to me, at least, your mileage may vary on this point), fresh bread is absolutely delicious, and bread also happens to have a heap of calories in it. Wheat didn't get to be one of humanity's two all time top sources of calories by being weightwatchers-approved
Probably because it was Cameron rather than Blair. Not that Blair was all that fundamentally different as a person, but that particular story is about Cameron
The first two principles for virtual currencies that they have listed are "Price indication should be clear and transparent" and "Practices obscuring the cost of in-game digital content and services should be avoided", so if EVE is honest and up front about it then it should be fine
I will absolutely not share specifics of this since it would be doxxing him, but I found one of his other social media accounts and it had a post from a week ago that seemed ordinary enough. Whatever got him to stop posting here, it wasn't something so drastic as to prevent him from engaging with his interests
(Also Squid, if you see this, I am happy to explain how I found you over DMs if it concerns you)
I would assume Australia would use it to monitor their own seas, rather than the Arctic. They already have a system that watches the sea north of Australia ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jindalee_Operational_Radar_Network ), so they have proven experience in the field
Things like that can definitely be accomodated. A famous example is how the UK would keep pumped storage hydro power ready for moments like half time in major football games or breaks in popular TV shows, because the entire country would pretty much simultaneously put their kettles on
Charging a car is a much bigger draw than powering a kettle, obviously, but the point is that these things tend to be reasonably predictable and we are able to ccount for them if we know they are coming
There are a lot of paid mods for the original AC, so I expect that will be part of it. However, I do think that there are two other reasons for the devs to want to host a platform of their own:
Being able to remove content ripped from other games, which will help keep them out of trouble
Giving users the option to automatically download the mods necessary to join a multiplayer game
