  • I bought Sync Pro for Reddit, and I'll do the same for Lemmy. Open-source can suck a butt, I'm willing to pay for a well made app

    Edit: lmao the replies! To be clear, I am not talking shit on open source software, the "open source can go suck a butt" comment was in reference to taking the time to get used to a new app when I don't have to 😝 Go touch grass. Sync treated me well, I'm willing to pay the creator to have that same experience on Lemmy. That's it. Stop being defensive, go for a walk.

  • Without Apollo on my iPhone and Sync on my android, I'm not using Reddit. Lemmy filled that void. The only thing missing are niche communities. That will come with time.
