  • Yeah, the work that you guys have put into this platform deserves to be acknowledged and appreciated. Personally, I love it, and thank you both for doing the brilliant work. I'm been here only a month, and even I've seen it grow. All the new apps, and few of Reddit's apps transferring to Fediverse, and the new communities popping up. I'm optimistic about Lemmy, and Fediverse. Thanks for the reply.

  • Firstly, I just have appreciation for you and nutomic for this amazing platform that you've created. This has become my favorite source of reading discussions and looking at memes. I know it's small, but I love it and want it to succeed. My question is Do you see Lemmy or any other federated platforms reaching the level of audiences that other big Social Media Platforms currently have? Do you want it to grow big like them, or remain as it is, An amazing platform hidden in one corner of the Web?

  • Artemis developer said they're gonna public source the code soonand their app supports both Lemmy and Kbin, which might help you with Kbin support. Just a suggestion, I know nothing about how code works, though.

  • Oh. It's so great that you don't want to die anymore. Now that you explain it, it seems not as bad as before not having friends. Maybe I could tell something about me as well. When I finished College(12 Years Education) in my country, I had terrible mood swings, I had a terrible crush on one person for literally 4 years, and Since, I couldn't be with this person, I was tormented just at the sight of that person. Now that, I'm in University, I have made good friends, even though, I used to think I have social anxiety, which I've 90% Conquered now. P.S. Sorry about making this about me. Either ignore it, or tell me more about yourself.

  • Me too. I'm into open source and stuff, so much I tried 4 or 5 distros on my potato PC. Yes, seeing Reddit's behavior towards its user made me have a sour feeling toward it. I used to love reddit as it was the only social media platform I was on. Lemmy is fun, and people around here are nice. Also, in What city did your aunt teach in Pakistan?

  • Hey, were you replying to another comment? I don't understand the first part of your comment. Huge thanks if you explain a little bit more. Also, I want to say that the people I follow on Instagram are my friends, one who post actively. These same friends I meet everyday in my University. It feels tiresome[personally, for me], to follow them online as well since I spend a quarter of my day with them in University. I don't know If I explained correctly or not, it made sense or not. Also, I am not a huge people person, I keep to myself and would like it if people kept to themselves, too, and not display their lives online.
