  • A study published in May by Brandeis University and funded by Birthright found that last year’s cohort are “much more connected to Israel, and much more likely to identify with the political right.” Birthright participants were also “more likely to provide a counterargument to claims that Israel is committing genocide” after the trip.

So it's really the Zionist Foundation. Gotcha.

  • Because "woke" has no hard definition and is just used as a derogatory term for anyone who doesn't agree with them. For them being "woke" is the worst thing someone can be. If that happens to be another right-winger then all well.

On top of that Trump has been courting every type of right-winger that even vaguely has a pulse to bolster his support. Essentially diluting whatever meaning "woke" had even further.

  • Is there a charitable interpretation that could make this statement true?

Since Gaza is an open air prison under the control of Israel and not recognized as an independent state we can blockade it all we want.

    Best I got.

    Really hard to justify genocide.

Life insurance wouldn't be the problem. The problem would be if they lived and were injured. That would be a work comp nightmare. Just imagining getting that call is giving me a headache.
