Interesting timeline of events. Right after the hospital was hit, the IDF twitter account stated that it had taken out a Hamas weapons point and then an Israeli Air Force member started bragging about blowing up the hospital.
Then, within thirty minutes, both of those tweets were deleted and the Israel Twitter account said they were "looking into the incident".
And then, two hours later, they started claiming Hamas was responsible.
Fair enough. I think every democracy needs to have the compulsory voting system that Australia does.
The perceptual downside to the system though is that it definitively and accurately tells you out of the entire population the amount that are bigoted POS'.
And they tried to make the action "neutral" by banning any form of tape other than white or black. So, all those charity causes that the tape was used for in the past, all gone. No charity donations for you.
All because the NHL decided it didn't want to allow players to voluntarily use rainbow tape, which was itself the NHL trying to cover the wagons because a small amount of players were getting public criticism for openly airing their homophobic views.
So, do the Palestinians have the right to defend themselves against all of the violence the IDF has done to them year after year? There've been frequent incidents of the IDF murdering people or members of the Geneva Convention violating settlements in West Bank attacking and killing Palestinians.
It's always so funny when Americans on here, including me, are openly willing to discuss how shitty, racist, and full of bigots the United States is. Around 40% of the population is complete filth and we're happy to openly acknowledge that.
Meanwhile, Canada, the UK, and Australian users, even if they're on the left, try to find excuses to not acknowledge that their general public is also significantly racist and bigoted. And always have been.
There's a reason why Evangelical groups this week are making a big new push on the Republican Party to promote politicians that are as massively pro-Israel as possible.
I don't doubt for a second that they won't still try to blame Biden somehow. As we've seen with Fox News, it doesn't need to be true, they just need to repeat it enough times and people will believe it's true.
Exactly. Less than a hands worth are needed to flip things the other way. Let's hope there's still enough Tuesday-type Republicans to get that to happen.
And he was the frontrunner. The only other person running was Jordan, with way less support.
With how fractioned the House Republicans are right now, Democrat support for Hakeem Jeffries technically makes him the frontrunner right now even without the majority.
Not that that matters, since a majority is needed. It will make next month and the expiry of the 45 day budget bill extension interesting if there's no Speaker to even bring it to a vote.
Why do you need to support Israel at all beyond the amount that was previously being done? They're not in an actual war and they're not having to defend against an invasion like Ukraine is.
I just block the instances, which one can do on kbin.social. Easy way to not have to bother with the dictatorship and genocide supporting tankie trash.
They left Gaza and then doubled down not only on embargoes, but also on building illegal settlements in West Bank in violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention that they are signatories to.
Well, you've definitely proven that dumb religious idiots, with the usual PRATT arguments, are here in the fediverse, at least, based on this comment section.
