  • They never did properly renew them after 2009 though, since the reasons for moving to minimal levels never went away, current events kinda just exemplifying why Bolivia never felt the desire to renew them.

  • So, they have no actual evidence they killed the guy.

And the move south rhetoric is clearly irrelevant, since if there are any Hamas people in the south, they'll bomb the civilians there anyways. So why does the location matter?

  • Though my point in bringing it up is that it's not even an actual excuse when Israel defenders use it. We Americans actively protested such things as well, as war crimes and violations of international law.

Trying to blatantly use illegal US actions as an excuse for one's own illegal actions, such as Netanyahu in his speech trying to use the US response to 9/11 as a reason for Israel to do the same, is appalling at best.

  • Oh, I've seen them saying a bunch of things. Combinations of "Well, it's not actually a refugee camp" and "the US also bombs civilians to take out military targets" and the long-used canard "they were warned to go south".

  • Considering around half the population in Gaza is children and the death toll from Israel is approaching 10,000 (might even be past it at this point, since it's hard to determine deaths in Gaza City from all the tanks), the amount of children murdered statistically has to be way higher than 3,000.

  • They blew up the telecommunications company building that was the main circuit board for all phone and internet signals. They also focused on destroying as much of the physical infrastructure, such as cell towers, as they could.

This had minimal impact on anything Hamas was doing, since they have physical landline cables down in their tunnel systems.

So the targeted destruction was aimed to harm the civilian population and their ability to communicate, not Hamas.

  • That is the settlers' unsubstantiated claims, alongside the uncle's unsubstantiated one. Considering that no one else saw these "dozens" of people when the shooting happened in an olive field in a Palestinian town that the settlers had no reason to be at in the first place.

So, multiple questions are raised. Why did the settlers even go here? Why were they armed? The people living there clearly weren't armed.

  • Based on what Netanyahu posted this morning, they are likely planning on destroying the biggest hospital in Gaza and killing everyone there and in the surrounding area.

So, hundreds of deaths. And they want to prevent it from being recorded and shown to the rest of the world.
